4 out of 5 eggsWorks as expected... mostly.

Pros: Good range. Good speed. Reliable connectivity.

Cons: Bulky. Takes up more than one port if your USB ports are close together. The software is garbage.

Other Thoughts: I thought I'd try something that I almost never do. I followed the instructions. Big mistake. After loading the software and drivers as instructed by the installation disk, the program would lock up and not work. I ended up uninstalling everything and just plugged in the adapter and let Windows configure the device. I've had no problems since.

2 out of 5 eggsnot that good

Pros: Windows 8 native drivers. Just plug and play, no issues
$10, still good for a spare / emergency. Glad I didn't pay full price for it.

Cons: could not get better than 65Mbps no matter what I did. Multiple laptops, multiple locations
Bought it to replace another Rosewill that only did 65, boy that was a great deal.

Other Thoughts: Wireless adaptors are worse than buying hard drives.
Hard Drive: 2TB = much less available space than 2TB but not half.
Wireless adapter: 150Mbps = less then half 150.
What good are specs?

5 out of 5 eggsGreat WiFi Adapter

Pros: Great USB adapter if you need an Antenna. This one is removable to boot! This Specific purchase was for a PC that was Downstairs in the basement. The Router was uptstairs in the living room. Laptop had 2bars, Poor Reception @ 15%. Now getting 4-5 bars, with Excellent Reception 80% and up.

Cons: More of a word of advice than a Con. If you move your machine around be sure to take this out. Big antenna means superior reception, but it can also break off if bang it against something. This is not the kind of.. plug-it-in-and-leave-it solutions.

3 out of 5 eggsShows its age early

Pros: Inexpensive
Good range

Cons: Intermittently poor performance

Other Thoughts: Performed well for about a year, then began dropping connections and refusing to reconnect unless disconnected/reconnected. Feels like a short-term solution kind of product.

5 out of 5 eggsReally good

Pros: -Simple to set up after downloading the latest drivers
-Strong signal with great range.
-Stayed on full bars without a single bar drop
-Cheap
-Rock solid

Cons: -Nothing I can think of

Other Thoughts: This device blew my mind. I expected the product to be sufficient at least due to its cheap price but it worked like wonders.

I had my modem downstairs and a desktop upstairs with an Asus PCE-N15 pcie Wireless-N adapter. Since this asus adapter was a wireless-N, I expected the connectivity and range to be pretty good but for it's performance, it was getting 1-3 bars at most, which it seems unreliable in my opinion. It's understandable that the asus adapter wasn't performing well because the modem was pretty far and I had a couple of walls in the way. When I put this adapter on, I was baffled how strong the connectivity was.

The signal strength was 100% and the connectivity was 90%. A big thumbs up for me seeing this little device can go all out. It stayed 5 bars continuiously and I could stream 720p & 1080p without a hiccup or wait to load. I never even seen it dip down to 4 bars and it's been rock solid ever since.

People may underestimate something like this to not work as great because of how cheap the product is and or how it's not a well known brand. I gave this little bugger a try and sure enough, this is not meant to be underestimated.

I highly recommend this to anyone who needs a signal boost like those who uses a laptop and getting terrible signal strength.
