5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: The price was good - cheap. Took it out of the box, moved the network cables from my old 8 port 10/100 switch and plugged in the power. It just works as advertised - simple and fast.

Cons: Lightweight - the cables try to pull it off the back of the shelf, but I set my router on top of it (with air clearance) and all is well.

5 out of 5 eggsNice device

Pros: Cheap
Fast
Works as described

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: The power cord is a tad short but not enough to even consider a Con. I like this device and plan on getting another for diff spot in house.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great.

Pros: High speed and 8 ports. Just what my home office and entertainment center was looking for.

Cons: Light plastic, but reading the reviews of others and you already know this. The power cord was a bit shorther than I'd like too, but no real complaints.

Other Thoughts: All in all a great unit for the price. It's lightweight, but if placed right, the cable won't drag it over the edge, I don't see that being a real problem anyway. Works awesome for all your high speed needs.

5 out of 5 eggsFAST

Pros: So far so good, getting over 80MBs transfer, limited only by the write speed of the old HD.
Runs cool.
Dirt Cheap, got it onsale 4 19.

Cons: Noone so far.

Other Thoughts: If u r looking at it, just buy it. 1000BaseT is fast, remember back in 2000, this only work on fiber, and it's only for backbone use. At this speed, I can run Premiere over it, if needed to.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat product

Pros: Gigabit switch
8 ports
cheap

Cons: I don't have any

Other Thoughts: Great product. Was easy just to unplug from my old 100megabit switch to this one and everything is so much faster :) can transfer 10 gigs in like a minute rather than 10 minutes. I'm not complaining.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Deal

Pros: Works great. Fanless. Gigabit. So cheap I can order a spare for less than the gas that it costs to drive to the store.

Cons: It's so lightweight that the ethernet wires will pull it right off the shelf if the wires are hanging down.

Other Thoughts: This switch cost 90% less than the switch it replaced and it uses 90% less power. It's so small that it fits inside the structured wiring cabinet.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for the price

Pros: 1. 8 GB ports
2. Speed is okay
3. Low price

Cons: I tested the speed port 2 port. It's around 600mbps. Not so good, right. One of possibility is the network cable I used is not good enough.

Other Thoughts: Although it's not as fast as expected, it's still a okay buy.

5 out of 5 eggsNo issues

Pros: Plugged into my Uverse router then plugged my home network cables to it. No Problems

Cons: Ports are close together. Can be a challenge to fill all the ports with the plugs so close but manageable. Same as most switches.
