Other Thoughts: I have 2 of these running for all of the wired connections in my house. No problems with either and it's much more reliable and faster than the WiFi alternative. Keeping computers wired and tablets and phones wireless has increased stability of all connected equipment.

Pros: Sturdy housing

Cons: They don't work.
The status lights are cheap.

Other Thoughts: Bought two of these. The first one didn't work immediately out of the box. The status lights blinked green for all devices plugged in, however the network connection drops on connected computers every 30 seconds for about 10 seconds, then the cycle repeats. I installed a second one of these switches since I'd ordered two, and that one worked for about two weeks. It started doing the same thing as the first one and is essentially unusable.

Pros: It does what I wanted it to. Compact little bugger quietly does it's job off in the background. I've had no problems so far.

Cons: None to date.

Pros: It switches

Cons: Constantly sends out broadcasts. Not sure if this behavior is loop detection or not; but I do not like the added network traffic.

Pros: Worked ok and was piced OK

Cons: It was never really perfect. The power supply plug had to be just right for it to work so I would occasionaly have to manually turn it to get good contact. It only happened occasionaly so I just delt with it and didn't RMA. Today the switch was dead. I scrolled back and found that it was only a few months after the warrenty had expired. I have a couple of Netgear switches which were a little more expensive but they have a Lifetime warranty. Kinda wish I had just stuck wit the Netgears. They are still going strong.

Other Thoughts: Next time I will buy Netgear

Pros: What can I say? From day one, this device has worked as designed. Nice and fast, reliable, and never a single issue. It's an unmanaged switch, so no configuration is necessary - just plug it in and that's it!

Cons: None

Pros: Can't say much but it's a switch and does have many features more expensive switches have. Works flawlessly and is quite faster than my tplink gigabit switch. Nice metal design feel solid.

Cons: No cons, to think about at the moment.

Other Thoughts: wish the LED's were blue might make this unit look more modern. Green LED's are so old school. For what it is a network switch you can just choose to hide it.
