5 out of 5 eggsGood product, good price

Pros: Great price, great performace

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Well constructed, quiet, and a good pickup for 24 ports at gig speeds. It has a Backbound Bandwidth: 48 Gbps and also supports flow control.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Wish this switch had LACP support but for the price it is a great grab.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Price and so far so good

Pros: Fairly compact unit. The amount of ports is decent and I like that it differentiates between 1000 and 100 Mbit connections on the activity lights. The full 48Gbps backplane is nice as well.

The device itself is very sturdy and feels pretty well built. It mounted in a rack really easily.

Increased my file transfer speed between my NAS and computers on the network from around 10MB/s to around 35 MB/s average (that's megabytes not megabits)

Cons: The lights are off to the side of the ports and very small so troubleshooting activity was a bit of an issue for me.

Make sure you put this in a place that is open and out of the way (mine is rack mounted with my NASs, media server and game server in the basement) because the fan is loud when under heavy load and it gets quite hot if the air temp climbs.

Other Thoughts: This replaced an old Linksys 10/100 24-port switch in preparation for my transition to a gigabit network in the house (and also in preparation for Google Fiber). This router fit the bill and I got it on sale and it was an amazing deal. Newegg of course shipped it promptly and it arrived ahead of schedule.

One of the first Rosewill products that exceeded my expectations rather than just being OK.

5 out of 5 eggsIt Works

Pros: Tired of all the on again/ off again fan noise from my old netgear gig switch. This one works fine and is absolutely silent. Great price too.

Cons: None really a con, but the port labels are a bit small for these older eyes. :) Other than that...nada.

Other Thoughts: Yep, I'm a wire guy vs. wireless. Now I need a 16 port so I can connect the rest of my outlets.

5 out of 5 eggsIt works

Pros: I have had this for almost a year and has worked great. Works like a switch, sounds like a switch, and looks nicer than most other switches.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsJust Works

Pros: Purchased this as I outgrew my 8 Port router and wanted future expansion option. Plugged in, worked fine.

I stream about 4 PCs, 6 Media Extenders and a printer. No issues seen so far.

Cons: None noticed so far...

Other Thoughts: For the price, fits my needs.
