4 out of 5 eggsGreat Speeds, Works Well

Pros: Great Speeds, PCIe, Antennas

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: At first my download speeds were very slow. After some small tweaking with my router, it runs like a charm and very fast!

(Keep in mind I have barely used it. If this breaks in the new future I'll be sure to write a new review.)

3 out of 5 eggsWorks--after a bit

Pros: Easy installation (if it works the first time).

Cons: Product was either temperamental or on metaphorical tech-vacation during the first several installs.

Other Thoughts: The ability of this card to receive a signal came and went with the wind and outright didn't work when first installed. Even after multiple installation attempts, it either didn't work at all or did so intermittently. It works as described now, though it was still very a frustrating experience for what should have been a simple process.

2 out of 5 eggsWell it works, sort of.

Pros: It works, sort of.

Cons: Very poor signal strength and very poor speed. Sometimes disconnects without reason. I had the model that this one replaced, if I hadn't thrown it away, I'd add it's model number here. It was almost as terrible. I had been using an RNX150UBE (USB) with a standard antenna and bought this as a more permanent solution. I ended up switching back to the USB adapter though.

I was getting 5 bars of signal on the single standard 3dbi antenna with the USB adapter. With these dual "9dbi" antennas, I was only getting 3 bars of signal. On top of that, my internet connection speed would only peak around 3mbps, whereas with the USB Adapter peaked at around 30mbps.

Needless to say, if you want a MUCH more reliable, faster, and still inexpensive wireless card, get the Rosewill RNX-N150UBE. It's a MUCH better card, and doesn't require any technical knowledge to install.

5 out of 5 eggsHappy Customer

Pros: Very easy install. ! Was working before I knew it.
Haven't had any issues for 6 weeks.

Cons: Not significant, but the antenna posts sometimes don't seem to stay where I put them.

Other Thoughts: Don't know what transfer rates I'm getting, but I haven't seen any problems. Play a lot of WOW online and it works good.

1 out of 5 eggsWaste of my time and money

Pros: What? Pro is required on a product that has no pro.

Cons: I was hoping for it to get 1/10 of the max (30Mbps). That is really low of an expecting. $14 for 30Mbps is cheap.

It gave me 2-6 Mbps when my router is about 10 meter away. I would have been better of buying a long cable... My home wifi is usually 50 Mbps.

Have tried driver from windows, rosewill, Realtek. They are all giving the same output.

Will never buy a rosewill ever again. It surprises me how bad a product can get no matter how low of an expectation I have.

Other Thoughts: Rosewill tech support is not that helpful after business hour.

3 out of 5 eggsThe good and the bad

Pros: Price when they work

Cons: Have several of these and some work good and some don't

Other Thoughts: Had a few of these around for spares, installed one into wife computer and got a very poor connection. Removed and put in another (same model) and connection got better. Tested it out by putting three of these (one at a time)into the same computer in the same location and got three different connections rates. They all installed and connect to the router without problem but the connection rates varies from very low to high.

4 out of 5 eggsOkay, mostly

Pros: Went in no problem, Large antennas. Does connect. Cheap too only $13 on sale.

Cons: Fairly low performance, my USB adapter on my main computer does a much better job when it comes to speed and maintaining connection, but it was more expensive so I may have gotten what I paid for.

3 out of 5 eggsGood on Windows Terrible on Linux

Pros: Works great for the typical windows user.

Cons: Driver support for linux is terrible. Even though this card boasts about supporting Linux, there have been no new drivers posted since Jan 2013 (kernel 2.9)

Only works for about 20 - 30 minutes before it starts to stop working and requires a restart of the host system.
