5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Smaller size. Great antennas. Cable to relocate to suitable position. Software is user friendly and stable.

Cons: None that I can notice but I generally use hardwire network connection most of the time.

Other Thoughts: I'ld like to see the radiation pattern of the antennas to help place in the best position and angle.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect Working Device

Pros: Easy set up and run. Picked up wifi all over the neighborhood. Picks up brothers network next door almost 50 yards away. with 5 bars, perfect reception. Speed pretty good too.

Cons: Not recognized right off had to install drivers. But not a real bad neg.

Other Thoughts: Would buy again and again

2 out of 5 eggsdropping connections

Pros: when it's working, good signal strength, relatively higher transfer rate (measured at about 25 feet away, 3 walls in between)

Cons: after a few months, this device gradually developed symptoms of dropping connections, pretty much unusable now,
considering shipping cost, may not worth it to ship in for exchange replacement.

Other Thoughts: would NOT recommend this device RNX-N250UBE at this time due to its reliability, it has poor compatibility with Linux

instead, would recommend RNX-N180UB, which has been reliable for me, very good speed, plus excellent compatibility with both Windows and Linux

4 out of 5 eggsGot it working

Pros: Decent signal, installed the drivers from the Rosewill site and not off the disk is why it wouldn't work I guess. Sorry about the last review

Cons: Rosewill needs to make sure they put the right drivers on their site. Don't know what to do if I lose the disk.

1 out of 5 eggsNo signals

Pros: None, not even a good paper weight.

Cons: Installed the drivers tried to find a signal and found none. My 5 year old Ralink has full signal.

Other Thoughts: Whats the point of having high gain blah blah blah if it don't even go 20 feet. I recommend buying something else. Really, don't like leaving bad review but this product don't work. I'm surprised it even has 4 stars.

1 out of 5 eggsboo ralink chipset

Pros: looks cool, i guess. supports (i'm using "support" liberally) master mode, but drops stations like a bad habit.

Cons: not supported for kernels under 3.10, and even then the connection drops frequently. The manufacturer's module only compiles for specific late 2.0 kernels. If you get it to work, the signal level lies. If you use it too long, it will heat up and not function at all until it cools down. Avoid like the plague.

1 out of 5 eggsA piece of horse manure

Pros: It's cheap

Cons: This is the flakiest, crappiest Wifi equipment I have ever used. Has a tendency to completely stop working after I start any serious download. DO NOT PURCHASE

5 out of 5 eggsIs very fast, yes!

Pros: Oh wow-wah-woo-way! I average a 3.5 mb per second dl speed. I also play Smite in the Midwest and average an 80-95 ping with very little lag spiking other than when centurylink fails; this is through a wall and ~50ft away from modem. Uploads I've yet to truly test, but I'm sure it performs equally as well. Did I mention I can also detect neighbor's wifi signals several houses away. The range on this thing is killer.

Cons: Literally none.

Other Thoughts: Don't forget to install the drivers guys! :p
Will not work without it.
If you don't have an optical drive then you can download it off of Rosewill's website.
