5 out of 5 eggsSolid and priced right

Pros: Works - 100% speed is good no problems 2 mts in

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Added this one to the racks to clean up connections and remove some smaller switchs fro the distribution flow, it is a solid performer at a fair price.
It is linked to a trendnet 24 port that has been also stable. My only wish was for a dedicated fiber uplink port, but at this price that would have been heavy option

5 out of 5 eggsGood Basic Switch for home network

Pros: I am an engineering network technician with a semi-complex home network including access point, firewall, this switch and network printer, servers and other gear. I found this to be excellent as far as reliability is concerned and links up to all equipment without a hitch. The switch is quiet as can be and appears to be well made. No qualms or complaints. For my needs it replaced an aging Cisco catalyst 3550-EMI switch that was loud as heck and only did 10/100.

Cons: Doesn't do VLAN tagging or VLANS for that matter. No user interface and minimal documentation. That being said, do understand that this does not do the features as a switch costing 3-5X as much.

Other Thoughts: This does what I need it to. Gigabit goodness.

5 out of 5 eggsunmanaged switch

Pros: Plugged it in worked perfectly. Home business network is immediately more responsive. I'm hoping the larger than average buffer will translate into better connectivity.

Cons: Not really a con of the switch but on the Newegg spec sheet.
Improperly classified as a smart switch in the specifications on Newegg. Rosewill classifies it correctly as an unmanaged switch. There is no user interface.

Other Thoughts: Like the guarantee!

5 out of 5 eggsSolid, Cool and Fast

Pros: Made my network blazingly fast, it runs cool, feels pro solid and just works. No wall wart, just an AC plug like a computer power supply. Activity LEDs show port action individually.

Cons: No connection speed indication on the LEDs, just activity, but no big deal, I just look at my edge device LEDs to see speed.

5 out of 5 eggswhat can I say, it's a switch!

Pros: It was nice and inexpensive. It did the trick for my home network. Some have complained that it's loud. I disagree. Compared to switches I use at work, this is whisper quiet.

Cons: none that I have experienced.

5 out of 5 eggsGood switch with good warranty

Pros: Gigabit, supports all the bells and whistles up to a managed switch. Fanless. Excellent warranty.

Cons: Lights should show connection speed. Doesn't speak to me like the Star Trek computer.

5 out of 5 eggsPlug and play and all ok

Pros: It functioned exactly as advertised. I plugged it into the cable modem/router for my home network and it was up and running. I can forget about it and let it do its job.

Cons: No really any.

Other Thoughts: This is how things should work.
