5 out of 5 eggsRunning no issues Linux Mint 17.2

Pros: I'm running Linux Mint 17.2 and I was worried it might take some configuring. Took less than a second to recognize the hardware and pick up my network.

Really Small compared to other adapters I've seen

Cons: A little bigger than I expected out of a button drive. I have another similar device that is 30% smaller

Other Thoughts: I haven't tested it on Windows (only my work Laptop runs it). I am steaming and accessing file shares with this device without having noticed any issues. Windows users experience may vary as well as anyone who is "Rolling" their own distribution.

5 out of 5 eggsCan't beat the price

Pros: Very small
Effortless setup in Kodibuntu
Price

Cons: Not very fast, but I knew that going in
Be aware of the specs before buying

Other Thoughts: Used this on an HTPC running Kodibuntu and it installed without any sort of mucking about. Was able to stream 1080p video in Kodi without any problems, although I was only about 30-35 feet away from my wireless router with no major walls in between. I was unable to reliably browse over the network to the machine, but that wasn't a major concern for me. Worked fine otherwise.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks very well

Pros: Small, installed pretty easily, surprisingly good range.
Fast with n300 router.

Cons: None, really...could be smaller or could have been free. lol!

Other Thoughts: I use this with a Dell Inspiron 1526 w/ internal wlan 1395 card....running Vista. I could never get it to work dependably. I have found they have a bit of a reputation for this...
Plugged this bad boy in and problem solved! Speed tested at 44mbps on 50mbps ISP. Never expected that good of a speed.
And, even at far end of house from router, get 4 of 5 bars signal strength.
Only time will tell if it is reliable, but there's not much to break, so I am optimistic.

1 out of 5 eggsWorked at first, now a dud

Pros: Cheap and at first pretty fast...

Cons: After owning this device for 6 months it longer works as expected. It will still tell you that it has a strong link, in my case 72Mbps, but every webpage will time out. Ping reports latency upwards of 600 ms to the router while every other device works fine. Attached it to a Win7 (x2), Win8.1, Ubuntu 14.05, and RasPi to check for driver issues. All appear to work until you start browsing.

Not worth the money.

Other Thoughts: I tested it against a USB powered nano WiFi router and a laptop and this is the only device that would not provide decent performance.

Pros: Included a small cd with the drivers for Windows and Mac.
10 seconds after installing the drivers I had signal.

Cons: None yet.

5 out of 5 eggsGood value, works well!

Pros: Low price, WIFI-N support, small size, big value. This WIFI adapter works and works well and the price is just ridiculous for what you get. May not run at 300Mbs, but for what you pay, who is griping? And who really gets 300Mbs throughput from a USB WIFI adapter, anyway? Just buy it!

Cons: plastic packaging is a bit tough to get into. That is all!

Other Thoughts: Love these for easy setup and good connectivity. You won't be disappointed

5 out of 5 eggsOff Script

Pros: After reading the specifications and the OS support, and not seeing Microsoft Windows Server 2008R2 on the list I had to try. I wanted to put a server at a location that was just not practical to run Ethernet cable.
This device is faster than a power line kit

Cons: At first installing this in the standard method for a windows device, it failed!
Using the device manager and the CD was the only way to make this device work.
I guess if it was going to be easy I would not have needed the CD.

Other Thoughts: Installing this device did take a quarter hour to get the system to accept the driver, but it was worth it.
I have excellent signal strength and data transfer almost as good as using CAT 6 cable.
Now I have the ability to use the server, and have it in a out of the way location.
If you use a device like this on a server, maximize all of your security on your router, I recommend no less than a mix of 12 letters numbers and symbols, all random.

2 out of 5 eggsGood for Linux... Not so good for Windows

Pros: Works very well for my Linux partitions. Connects to my 45 Mbps router between 40 and 44 Mbps. No drivers needed with Linux.

Cons: The Windows driver disk provided is worthless. The program installs, but abends when executed. Tried to download drivers from Rosewill, but the driver web page no longer exists. For windows, there are better options.

2 out of 5 eggsWeak

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Despite an advertised max speed of 150 Mps, I was able to get about 18 Mps (down) while standing 2 feet from a wireless 150 Mbs router. At 10 feet and a wall away, I got 4.5 Mbs (down). At 12 feet and 2 walls, the connection was pretty much toast.

4 out of 5 eggsGood I guess

Pros: Good range
Decent speeds

Cons: Not really any, other than the annoying driver software. You don't actually need it.

Other Thoughts: It could be smaller, but for the price I won't complain.
