4 out of 5 eggsRosewill RNX -N900UBE

Pros: 2.4 Ghz band works awesome...

Cons: 5Ghz band is "wonky" to say the least . it connects at 162mbps ,while occassionally jumping to 243mbps, it then goes back down to 162mbps. So the 5Ghz band on this thing , is horrible. Absolutely horrible.. so i'm stuck having to use the 2.4ghz band, which is why i'm deducting 2 eggs.

Other Thoughts: I've tried the old driver for this, the new driver and some drivers in between.. and 5Ghz still does not work correctly.

3 out of 5 eggsRosewill RNX -N900UBE

Pros: Its WIFI that works (sorta...) 2.4Ghz works well .....

Cons: While 2.4ghz band works well, the 5Ghz band does NOT work well at all...honestly, it sucks outright... I get maybe 2 bars of signal at best on the 5ghz band and its just slow, and generally half the speed of my 2.4ghz band..

Other Thoughts: If you absolutely need a working wifi adapter...and are on a budget..go with this, it will work okay. But if you want great performance go with something else.

5 out of 5 eggsRosewill does it again!

Pros: Fast, reliable, easy to use, strong signal, great warranty without spending a dime on it.

Cons: The one I got was a little shaky like it'd been roughed up a bit in the delivery process but when I called customer service about a replacement my experience was so great even the con was a bit of a pro.

Other Thoughts: This adapter is wonderful. I've used many but never had one work as well as this one. It keeps a strong, fast connection always. And being from Rosewill not only does it have a great warranty (1 year from date of purchase and I added 2 years of replacement warranty for $8. So that's the adapter being a steal at that price and only $8 more leaves me with free replacements for 3 years. Rosewill really does make innovative, high quality products but their customer service goes above and beyond. Win win situation all around.

5 out of 5 eggsBest wireless adapter I've used.

Pros: Fast, Efficient, Reliable

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I've gone through several wireless adapters but they all disappointed me until this one. The speed, efficiency and reliability make this item really great. Score another for Rosewill, I'm really beginning to get a softspot for this brand.

5 out of 5 eggsBeen almost a year, works perfect

Pros: I purchased this in May of 2014 when I had to relocate my router from my usual desk, thus, I had to get wireless connection instead of wired. I was deciding between getting a wireless NIC or just an adapter, and after much debate, I just went with USB wireless adapter. Still works great with my 5.0 band wireless. The only issues I've had with it are in regards to my ISP and not the connection of the adapter at all. Overall, great buy!

Cons: So far, still none.

5 out of 5 eggsGood price if you need to upgrade your wireless connection.

Pros: - Helps clear up the 2.4 GHz network

- Cheap price

- Included USB cradle

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: My oldest has a TV in his room and he has an HTPC that hits the home server for movies and videos. He started experiencing hiccups and lag when the network was experiencing no traffic. I figured this might be due to the 2.4 GHz band getting congested with everything else and interference. I purchased this as a backup plan, in case it just didn't work.

He has not had any hiccups or skips (buffering) in stream play backs.

The external antennae is awesome, too. Check my other reviews. I. LOVE. ROSEWILL.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat on all windows

Pros: This is by far the best usb wifi device ive had and ive had 14 different ones in 12 years. Generally they die or drop signal when i was gaming alot. This thing grabs and goes.

Now all these crybabies that say it sucks for Windows 8 and 8.1, thats because they inserted the disc suite and THAT IS A NO NO.

on windows 8 and newer you simply plug and play. If this does not work there is a problem in your windows and/or motherboard, every working system will pick this up and you will see wifi options on the bottom right of desktop.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Highly recommended for people who game online and download large files. Just as fast as going cat 6 cord from 25 feet away
