2 out of 5 eggswon't resync with modem reliably

Pros: If you get it synced and working, it works fine. I didn't notice substantially better performance than with my old router, though. The range wasn't great, either. In the farthest parts of my home, wifi strength was minimal.

Cons: When there's a hiccup in the internet service, getting it to re-sync with the modem and getting back online was a pain every single time. I would have to connect my laptop and tinker until it started working. The wizard didn't work right either. It would frequently not find services on the WAN port when the modem was up and working fine.

Other Thoughts: I finally dumped this one in favor of a new Netgear router. I hope I have better luck with it.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat when it works.

Pros: Easy setup, great coverage, lots of good options in the firmware

Cons: Drops signal frequently. Ongoing degradation of performance at a steady pace from month 3-11. Pretty much complete hardware failure after 1 year.

Other Thoughts: It worked great when it worked. I took a chance ordering this after seeing the reviews but it was a gamble I lost on. I'll be going with a more trusted brand next time. My Linksys is currently serving in the Rosewill's stead and that thing is going on 8 years old.

2 out of 5 eggsNot Very Happy

Pros: When it works, it works great. The wireless signal is stronger than my old wireless N router, plus I seem to have better overall throughput.

Cons: The wireless signal would drop frequently. I would get disconnected about once every ten minutes, give or take. Switching the wireless channel seemed to help, but a few days later, the modem stopped working on one or two of the hard-wired ports.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat value for a gigabit router!

Pros: It's a gigabit router with large antennas for great coverage. It's extremely simple to setup and the instructions were clear.

Cons: It did not support my old Belkin wireless adapter for my desktop. I went ahead and bought a Rosewill wireless N adapter which cost more money.

Other Thoughts: In the end, I'm fairly satisfied with the router. I've read the other comments stating that it's not a good router. For me, I think it's a great router and it's inexpensive compared to the other dual band gigabit routers. I bought this router for $55 on Labor Day sale.

1 out of 5 eggsDisappointing router

Pros: Gigabit capability

Cons: First one replaced under warranty after a month or so. The second one is only a couple months old and, as other have stated, has started dropping wifi connection several times daily. Also, the range has little improvement over my older, non-gigabit router

Other Thoughts: Would not recommend.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't buy this

Pros: Good dual band router and easy set up

Cons: This router is VERY VERY spotty. I bought one and set it up and after a month it doesn't connect anymore. Then got a replacement and the SAME EXACT thing happened after a month or two. Something is very odd with this item. I got a asus router afterwards and it's been working perfectly. Beware of this unit. I should of known it NOT to buy a cheap Rosewill.

5 out of 5 eggsGood AP

Pros: I just bought my second one. I use it as an AP. I get good and fast 2.5G and 5G connections. And one of the least cost dual band APs with external antennas.

Cons: The indicator ligts are really bright. Cover them up when used in a living area.

Other Thoughts: I use it as an AP, not a router, so can't specak to how well it does NAT and routing.

1 out of 5 eggsRosewill T600N - skip this model

Pros: -Priced well for a gigabit router.
-External Antennas

Cons: Unfortunately, my faith in Rosewill products was not rewarded this time. Like other reviewers of this product, my router would not hold a steady connection to my modem. Manual settings didn't seem to help. Spent a few hours troubleshooting, but this is for a computer repair business, so if automatic settings don't work, i'm not going to be typing out new settings for every machine I hook up to my bench.

Whether this is a compatibility issue, or just a defective product, I don't have enough confidence to use it in my office. I'm also not putting the customary hours of 'Did you reset your modem and router?' with a support agent, and then paying to ship it back and forth for a couple weeks. I need my network up and running.

Other Thoughts: Rosewill usually has decent stuff, I have an older generation router hooked up at home and it works great. This model seems to have a lot of issues trying to set things up, and it's not just me. Maybe it's fixable, but I'm not trusting my business network to a router that I can't rely on.

No firmware updates for it yet, maybe that would fix the issues, but I'm not waiting around. If they do solve the problems, maybe I'll use this one at home, but till then, it's just an expensive paperweight.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat range, but not worth it!

Pros: This router as a great range. Much MUCH larger than that of my internal antenna router.

Cons: This router has HUGE issues with staying connected to the router. I have actually had to connect this router as an Access Point to my other router so this is basically a range extender. I would recommend staying away from this one. It's likely that a firmware update would take care of this, but no update as of yet.

Other Thoughts: I gave the router 2 stars because of the great range, and when the router is working correctly, it's pretty good! But the constant disconnect with the modem drops it down. I have tried different routers with the same modem, and this is the only one that has this issue of the 3 routers I have.
