4 out of 5 eggsWorks Well

Pros: Moved into a new house and there is no network/cable connection in my home office. Bought this as a stop gap to get my desktop PC connected to my wireless router.

Works well through several walls with a solid connection and decent speed.

Cons: I got a different product with a high gain antennae for my daughter's PC and it has a stronger signal. A few more walls and this one loses signal strength dramatically.

2 out of 5 eggsWorks till it doesn't

Pros: Easy to setup requiring no installation of management software. Achieved full adversized speeds of 300Mbps. Did not use WPS Button. Worked well...until it didn't

Cons: The thing broke within a year. However, the device didn't just stop working, it started corrupting data. As a result the network didn't go out but became unreliable "every so often". It is probably the most annoying thing I have ever seen because tech support insisted it was software or configuration related. As a result technical support is telling me nothing is wrong and just uninstall reinstall drivers, uninstall other software, etc.

Other Thoughts: Sent it out for RMA (because of the 1 yr warranty), it took 4 weeks to get back. I am certainly not buying another EnGenius device because you can't rely on timely support.

5 out of 5 eggssimply fantastic!

Pros: No-hassle installation, reliable. We decided to switch from the old Ethernet cable mess to the wireless USB wonder and it just works fine.

Cons: A little bulky for the USB slots array in a Desktop.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks decent for gaming

Pros: Works decent for gaming. I generally get good pings. When comparing wired connection to a wireless connection wired is clearly better. But I really can't complain with this wireless connection and gaming. I do get a few random disconnects but I'm not certain if it's my ISP or this device. I wouldn't be surprised if was my ISP so don't' take to much into that.

Cons: Nothing major

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great on my desktop

Pros: Small, about the size of a normal flash drive.

Holds a solid connection.

Comes with a cool cap for portability.

Cons: Uses old tech (draft N ) but works well. And got it for a good price.

4 out of 5 eggsBang for the buck

Pros: This device serves its purpose for me. My favorite part was that it was only $20.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: The important thing to keep in mind it that this product is for basic home networking use. There are so many variables when it comes to wireless network performance, one can't blame the device if they don't have anything to compare it too.

1 out of 5 eggsMust have gotten a defective one

Pros: Price

Cons: Wouldn't grab a network connection, then when it did... it took five minutes to bring up one page. Finally connection kept dropping as well. Replaced it with another wireless network card at the same distance from the router, and things worked fine. Definitely a poor quality, or defective wireless card.

5 out of 5 eggsEasy

Pros: Very easy to setup, pretty much works right out of the box without trying to load a bunch of bulky management software on your computer. Surprisingly, the range is really good - picks up a good signal from my router, which is located all the way out in the garage.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Considering the price, this is a very good wireless adapter.

1 out of 5 eggsWorst I'v ever purchased

Pros: easy setup

Cons: Terrible throughput, drops connection, sometimes doesn't reconnect after rebooting PC.
I have bought Engenius equipment many times, and have always been pleased until now.
This will make me look to other brands in the future.
