ESR1221N is an affordable solution to upgrade your wireless network from 802.11g devices and enjoy the faster wireless connection to surf Internet, transfer files, listen to music, and etc. It also supports all the standard WPA / WPA2 security features contained in routers today. Advanced SPI firewall, Denial of Service (DoS) attack blocking, MAC and URL filtering, etc. further secure your network connections.

Wireless-N ESR1221N uses the most advanced wireless networking technology (draft 802.11n) for the best range and speed, and is backward compatible with 802.11g wireless devices.
Security & Management ESR1221N provides powerful SPI firewall, NAT as well as WEP, WPA, and WPA2 encryptions to secure your network connections.
WMM based on QoS Wi-Fi Multimedia (WMM) adds QoS (Quality of Service) for Wi-Fi networks that improve the user experience for audio, video, and voice applications by prioritizing data traffic.

Cons: Died after three months. No power or anything. TofuDog 4/13/2013 4:02:10 PM Tech Level: 3/5 Ownership: 4/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 1/5Connection unreliable Pros: Cheap, wired router works great Cons: Wireless connection is unreliable; Netflix stops with network error once every couple of hours of viewing, streaming media to iPad, laptop quits, AirPort Express cannot keep a connection for longer than a few minutes. Power cycling doesn't seem to help, it eventually recovers on its own until an hour or two later. Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for -hardly worth returning. Wifi would constantly drop. Made of cheap-feeling plastic with bright blue LED that actually shines through. Other Thoughts: Shipping this back at over 60% of final price to get RMA refund is EXTREMELY disappointing to the point of feeling robbed. Speeds outclass my old WRT54GL, as expected. DNS Proxying, DHCP, NTP, standard support. Got it for 18 bucks, the devices is really exceptional at that price. Cons: Sometimes I lose signal at the ends of the house downstairs. It isn't really all that far but, the single antenna and the amont of electronics in my house affect this. Other Thoughts: I really like this thing and for the price, you can't go wrong! It is really small, about the size of my hand. Worked right out of the box. Setup wizard for the un-informed. Lots of bells and whistles for this price point. Simple and intuitive web based interface.I get excellent signal strength at the opposite end of my house. I would have gone 5 eggs if not for the product "finish". The case is translucent enough that the blue LEDs glow through the case. The short ethernet cable provided is cheap and the unit is very light and flimsy feeling. I am quite pleased with it's operation, but I think I will avoid dropping it!
