Can I use this without any external antenna?

From using the product i would say no, it is designed to be used with an external antenna. I purchased the recommended omni directional and created the bridge between at my cottage. Creating a bridge and access point all over my property and lake. Awesome product!

I need to get wireless into a metal container from a house about 100 meters away. There is another double wall construction with stucco and trees inbetween. Will this unit be able to handle that?

It is likely not most wireless devices start failing at about 75 feet or less. I would hard wire the connection for better speed and reliability but use this inside the 'container' or 'shelter'. Be sure to bury the wire properly.
