4 out of 5 eggsGood signal strength

Pros: External antenna (could be good, could be bad, depending on your situation) which in this case should help. Fairly easy setup once I downloaded the right drivers to go with Vista. Just like connecting your laptop to wifi.

Cons: Setup was a pain, until I found the new driver on the website.

Other Thoughts: Using is a wifi office system using WPA2 encryption changing keys every hour.

3 out of 5 eggsIt's what you pay for it

Pros: Cost of course, for me, external antenna, ease of setup (kinda) You should run the disk through just to get you up and running pretty easy but then right click on the icon that it puts on your taskbar and tell it to let windows zero configuration configure it for you. The RA Link took that it installs frequently dropped my connection and reconnected it while the windows never dropped, just varied signal speed. After you tell windows to take control, remove this program from your startup folder in your start menu. no need for it any more, just wastes ram.

Cons: Signal Strength, wish ext. antenna cord was a bit longer but oh well. erratic lag spikes in the 2xxx-3xxx ms range.

Other Thoughts: Two machines sitting within two feet of each other. My mac running an old 802.11b airport card with external antenna and my PC running Vista using this card, antenna's sitting side by side in the window. Signal str on mac=96%@11MB/sec, on PC=70%@36MB/sec, I switched the PC card to 802.11b only to see if that'd help and it does not, the signal str isn't the killer, it just about once every 10 minutes or less hits me with a high lagspike making gaming unpredictable. I have lower pings going from my mac sharing it's internet connection to the PC via crossover cable than through this card.

5 out of 5 eggsGood, solid card

Pros: It can hold a signal at 3/5 bars through a floor in my house and around four walls flawlessly. It hasn't dropped my connection once. Setup was easy, the CD worked fine for me. It is pretty cheap.

Cons: The external antennae can be a little annoying if you move your computer much, but when your computer is stationary its no problem at all.

Other Thoughts: For some reason, it took around eight business days after my order was submitted. I've used NewEgg for around a dozen other orders and it has never taken them four days to get the merchandise into the hands of UPS, so I'd say its anomaly.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat NIC for the price

Pros: A great price for a very goood product. I've purchased other wireless NICs at over twice the price that didn't perform as well as this has so far. It's about 30' from my router and the signal strenght is very good. It picks up the LAN signal from the motel down the street!

Cons: The interface provided is average, at best. Overall, nothing terrible to say about this product. Newegg's delivery was incredibly fast, as usual.

Other Thoughts: Can't go wrong with this card if you're looking for a great price on a good product.

5 out of 5 eggsWOW

Comments: im very pleased with this NIC. I use my neighbors connection cause they let me, and they live across the street from me. I can play CS: Source with no internet lag.
