It's fast and reliable when compared to other brands' equivalent products I've tried recently: cisco small business, netgear, dlink Best price you can find for a 24-port that supports so many features. It operates silently in your office or at home. No need to worry that if the fan fails the switch will as well. Has two SFP ports to extend distances over that of wire cables or connect optically to other equipment (e.g., router). Cons: Not as well known as other companies in this business. Other Thoughts: I have been using Asante switches in my home office for years and never had a failure. I have only had to replace them when technology improvements increased speeds to gigabit rates.
