5 out of 5 eggsTime Tested and Proven

Pros: Very easy to manage, I like the management and have never had any issues with this router. The range on it is much better than listed and actually, the signal on it is so strong it is passing through 3 walls, 1 floor, 800ft and 1 set of stairs.

My neighbors down the street can pick up its signal so I had to turn on MAC filters. Yes I'm sure more techy people can do better but it is a great way for me to do it. :)

Cons: I've owned this a very long time and have had absolutely no problems with it.

Other Thoughts: At the time I purchased this product they made matching wireless cards, such a shame I can't get them anymore. I wish I could! Combining the router with the matching cards has made a very stable and good system.

5 out of 5 eggsI love this router and the price was a bonus

Pros: Because of the lack of reviews & some of the bad ones, I was a bit nervous, but I had no problems with the setup. Great price, easy setup - I plugged it in and it immediately recognized all my hardware: cable modem, xbox360 & 1 pc. I personally set it up with the modem & xbox360 on a wired connection with the PC as wireless, since I didn't want to pay microsoft $100 for an adapter. The transfer rate is a plus, even while playing on xbox360 at the same time as playing WoW on PC, my wireless connection for the PC holds strong at 54mbps... which my actual internet speed should be 6mbps.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This was a wonderful buy for my money. My computer is a couple years old, emachines W3503 with Windows XP. I purchased an Encore wireless-G USB adapter, model#ENUWI-G2 which I got from Newegg for $15.99. All in all, I spent 55.98 and when I add other computers to my network, I will purchase the same type of adapter if it still available.

5 out of 5 eggsNice little Router

Pros: It's Super-G! Sounds like a superhero, but it really does have fast transfer and is VERY easy to setup. Took a few minutes, and hasn't had issues since.

Cons: It's not N? I haven't had any problems, and rarely call customer support for anything (what do they know that I don't?)

Other Thoughts: I have been using Encore networking products for quite a while now, and will say that it has been a very good cheap alternative to comapnies **cough**link**cough**sys** that seem to be hit or miss, but always overpriced. Ever since the annoying setup CD problems I had with others, I walked away and have been very happy about it.

2 out of 5 eggsStay away!

Pros: Newegg delivery (when is it not good?!)

And. Well. It's 108mbps wireless..

Cons: ..If only it worked.

Other Thoughts: I had it working for a week or two, cascaded from my linksys gateway/modem/router. It worked, but no access to it to alter settings. Linksys tech support talked me through getting it to work. Encore tech support said it was the linksys device that was causing the problem. NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat performance for the price.

Pros: Has performed much better then my d-link for streaming video, and also much faster for downloading content. Would buy product again.

Cons: At first it would disconnect from the internet and I would have to reboot it. Don't know why, but it works fine now.

Other Thoughts: Very good price for perfomance so far.

1 out of 5 eggsDefective/Bad customer service

Pros: nothing

Cons: Product had not worked since i received it. I talked several times to tech support and they tried to tell me my cable modem was defective. although it works just fine without the router. They finally ruled the router was defective. It has been a couple weeks and without an RMA through email. Customer service is horrible. Highly recommend not buying.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent!

Pros: It was so easy.
I bought the new wireless cards with the new router as a set. So everything was the same type and manf. All I had to do was plug it in, go to the web based browser, configure it with the IP information from my last router. Worked the second it rebooted. Full strong signal down the hall into the kitchen and into a cabinet.

Cons: none
