Pros: installed driver from disc, installed adapter with enclosed cable, restart windows 7, windows found adapter and driver, works great sitting on workshop shelf in back of home going thru several wooden walls.

Cons: none at this time

Other Thoughts: I did not try to use without enclosed cable attached.

Pros: easy to use management utility. easy to switch from ap mode to receiver. small size for a powerful receiver.

Cons: none, just see below for additional thoughts.

P.S. user Manuel dose not have all information for install most likely my error but still use all parts both the adapter and the usb extension

Other Thoughts: when i first installed the adapter i did not use the usb attachment that it came with, i figured that plugging it into the back of the computer without the attachment would be fine, i was wrong (somewhat). although the adapter did work it had poor signal strength and connectivity. the user manual dose not say it is necessary but from my experience you do need the attachment. after using the usb attachment and restarting my computer signal strength and connectivity are near 100%. take my advice use the usb attachment it will act as an antenna and improve quality.

Pros: Small & compact. Locks in top speed as advertised. Stable connection always. Easy to set up. Lot's of good info in the manual but don't let it confuse you into thinking this is difficult to set-up.

Cons: None come to mind after 1 month of never loosing a connection

Other Thoughts: This compact device replaced the many internal adapters in my older Del Inspiron 1520 that would just never stay connect. Plugged it and only followed the Windows 7 install instruction.
