Pros: 8 ports of POE, 8 non POE - nice simple switch for small video system (commercial only)
The 4 port POE Zyxel (fan-less & super quiet) switches are great.

Cons: Insanely loud. We tried to use this switch on a couple of residential network video systems.
Had to explain to both customers how to turn it off at bed time until they could be replaced.

Pros: first 1-8 ports are PoE, rack mountable

Cons: it would be nice if the other non PoE ports were 1000Mbps and its a bit pricey. but after all it is a PoE switch

Other Thoughts: I ordered this switch to power a couple of VoIP phone for a client of mine. This allowed me to use a UPS to power this switch to keep phone service working during power loss. There is not to much more to say about this after all is is just a switch. but it would be ideal for powering any PoE device that is not neat a power source

Pros: Good price.

Cons: Very loud and high pitch noise. My client could Not withstand it even it is in a closet. Has to replace with Netgear.

Other Thoughts: Rack mount bracket can Not be turned 90 degree to be surface mount on plywood.

Pros: Cheap and works well for what it's supposed to do. Pretty solid construction.

Cons: They've changed the design in the past couple months. The images here are NOT the product anymore. The ports are on the face of the unit, not rear (which is terrible for my application). The fans on older units were nice and quiet. The latest batches are mini hair dryers and are unusable in a home or office. Only suitable in a data closet. You can hear them a room over in our office.

Other Thoughts: Please bring back the old design. We will no longer be using these until the fan and port locations are corrected back to the original design.

Pros: 8 Port POE for this price? Unbeatable. I have over 20 of these in service and they work flawless.

Cons: Newegg now discontinuing.....WHY???

Other Thoughts: I love these switches. They provide plenty of power per port and run my cameras exceptionally well.

Other Thoughts: POE across 8 ports on a 130W Budget = 16.25W per port...not bad. I use it to power 6 POE IP Camera. Switching Capacity is = to 100Mbps per port...very good for a switch with these features at this price. I've never had an issue with it having the 100Mbps link to my server nearly saturated for 2 months. (6 2MP cameras and their lowest compression levels).

Pros: "OK" switch. You get what you pay for, and it's low-priced for PoE.

Cons: WARNING - this PoE switch has 16 ports, but 8 are PoE, and 8 are NOT. Nowhere can you find this info in the item description or specifications.
