Broesph 5/13/2012 10:34:00 PM Tech Level: 4/5 Ownership: 1/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 1/5Piece of Junk Pros: Gigabit Ethernet Cons: "High Priority" and "Video-Optimized" (low priority) ports w/ QoS... I just wanted a normal switch but the price was right for this so I bought it anyway. Other Thoughts: Plugged it in and I got about 99% dropped packets trying to connect it to my router through my ZyXEL powerline ethernet adapters. I have been using my crummy old 10/100 D-Link switch and it's worked fine, I wanted to use this to upgrade to Gigabit but it never actually worked. Tried switching the ports around but it still didn't work, so I plugged in my old switch and now I have no problems. This was my first ZyXEL switch and I'm not impressed at all. Time will tell what kind of difference that will make. I already have my cable company's highest connection speed option. Cons: Could not use without my old router. It acts like a router but my devices(Blue-Ray player, XBOX 360) cannot connect to the internet with this alone though my computer had no trouble connecting. Had to connect through the old router and use as an add-on. Still not sure if it's improving anything.
