Runs cool (I have it mounted vertically underneath a desk, had to provide my own screws but it has keyhole slots on the bottom). Not much documentation, particularly on QOS. The QOS diagram recommends putting a VOIP phone on a hi-pri port and an Internet connection on a low-pri port, but those are the two ports that will be connecting to each other, so shouldn't they both be hi-pri? Anyway, throughput on all ports seems fine, I haven't stressed it enough to make QOS matter. Energy-efficient. Switching fabric throughput and MAC table size specs are good for this price point. Cons: Thin documentation. Only 128K memory buffer. Port lights only indicate link and activity, they are not color-coded for 10/100/1000 speed.
