1 out of 5 eggsNot good

Pros: None

Cons: Connects but won't transfer data. Adapter showed to have a good connection but was very slow if it worked at all.
I finally tossed the wr0811 in the trash and bought one that was less than a third the cost, plugs into the usb port and works great.

Other Thoughts: Don't waste your money.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes it's job well!

Pros: Easy to install, includes a low-profile plate for a mini-computer install, dual band, good range and throughput.

Works with no downtime about 50 feet away from my router.

Cons: None whatsoever.

Other Thoughts: I'm using a windows 8 build with this, MSI board, and a comcast issued router.

1 out of 5 eggsQuite disappointed

Pros: Price point and ease of install. It might have done better within 15-20 feet of the router, but at that point I probably would've simply run a cable.

Cons: Connection issues. After install, the adapter took a while to find networks. There were issues getting the adapter to actually connect (multiple times selecting the network and entering password). I'm not sure if this thing isn't able to reach more than 30 feet in a house, or it has issues with a router that outputs both single and dual band. It was in and out of connection for a while, then it stopped working all together.

Other Thoughts: Unfortunately I bought this early for a Christmas present and didn't find out until too late that this is something I needed to return.

4 out of 5 eggsKind of Impressed

Pros: Needed this to use in the basement of a friend's house, underneath a central iron beam. Surprised when it worked well where other kept dropping signal. No issue on install, Win 7 treated it like a little brother.

Cons: N/A
