3 out of 5 eggsIssues with this

Pros: LG brand, it was a freebie with a modem.

Cons: I got this setup for a friend, the modem it came with works great, but my friend has tried to hook this up 3 or 4 different times, it works for awhile then her connection drops out and she has to call the cable company to get things correct, and every time she does they eliminate the router from the mix and connection is fine. So I cannot recommend this, seems it was bad from the gitgo. No great loss.

1 out of 5 eggsA real piece of junk

Pros: It was free

Cons: It doesn't work longer that 10 minutes before it needs to be reset.

Other Thoughts: Although it was free, it is still over priced. A waste of natural resources.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't buy this

Pros: The GUI came up when the IP address was typed in.

Cons: Everything else. This router is a pile of junk. Granted, I got if for free when i bought the Motorola Surfboard modem (which is great BTW.) I connected my home network through this router and for about the first week I had no problems. Then, wireless to our laptops would die periodically and pop back on. The next week I had to power cycle the router 2-3 times weekly. Then, when using Xbox Live wired to this router, it would drop connection about 10-15x while watching Netflix. I initially thought it was a problem with the Xbox, but I took a chance and bought another router. None of the disconnection issues that I experienced with the LG. You get what you pay for. I went for the ASUS router. its the same price, and no headache. The router was free, but peace of mind is worth something. Please stay away from this router.

Other Thoughts: Get a $40 dollar or more router and don't deal with all the headaches. Also worth noting is absolutely NO online support. Google searches show no results. I couldn't find one website that even listed LG Ericsson as a router maker. I could put Ethernet cords between 2 slices of bread, and it would have done a better job.

1 out of 5 eggsNo Idea

Pros: It arrived?

Cons: I will not save settings. It randomly changes settings. It refuses to accept an IP on my network. Junk, complete junk. Throw it away and get an actual router.

1 out of 5 eggsjunk

Pros: Small i guess that could be a pro.
Free since it came with my Motorola surfboard.

Cons: NO IPV6
no Gigabit ports.
Could not put into AP mode.
Had it running for maybe 1 week, gave up on it since it was slowing down the rest of the network.

Other Thoughts: i will give it away to anyone thinking about buying one.

1 out of 5 eggsDo Not Buy

Pros: None

Cons: I received one of these as a free gift and it died almost immediately. After reading all of the negative reviews on NewEgg, I saw that my problems were the same as everyone else who had unfortunately received one of these paperweights. NewEgg was nice enough to RMA the defective unit for me, after I had posted a negative review. I received the new router and reluctantly installed it. It worked great for about four days! But after that honeymoon period was over, it's right back to where the original unit was. It has to be power reset every few hours. Sometimes my computers will see the network, but cannot connect to it until the router has been reset. When it is working, there are sudden drops. This thing is just terrible. I ordered another wireless router, from a reputable brand. I will deal with this junk until the new one comes in the mail; then this router will be in the trash. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

Other Thoughts: After leaving the negative review and then receiving, what appeared to be, a good and working LG-Ericsson router, I was worried that my negative review had been hastily left. I thought I would have to offer a retraction in the form of an apologetic positive review. Good for me that the terrible product was not isolated to a few units, but to the entire product line. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

1 out of 5 eggsWorthless

Pros: It was free

Cons: Unreliable connection. While the wireless connection shows stable, the router becomes unresponsive to all network activity...constantly. This is going in the garbage where it belongs when my new router arrives.

Other Thoughts: I see why NewEgg was giving these away. That's the only way to get rid of them.

1 out of 5 eggsterrible

Pros: I got it as a free gift with the purchase of a Motorola cable modem. I'm using the power cord for my Netgear router...only thing it's good for!

Cons: Trash...I wanted to use it as a repeater-bridge, but the firmware doesn't support that function, and there is no 3rd party firmware support. So, it's being used as a nice little door stop.
