2 out of 5 eggsIssues With W10

Pros: Seem to install fine.

Cons: Did not connect as I would have expected. Constant issue with re-connection. I would have to remove the blue tooth device [usually head sets] and have them in "Discover Mode" again.

Other Thoughts: I just switched over to Windows 10 on my three desttops so I am not able to test on a Windows 7 unit. I have returned to the previous one I used [Asus]

2 out of 5 eggsWorked with PS4 Controller

Pros: Worked great for the first 6 months. I was able to connect my PS3 controller to my PC and now I'm able to connect my PS4 controller.

Cons: VERY SHORT RANGE! Granted the device is a few years old but as time passed so did the quality. When I purchased this I could use my PS3 controller 10-15 feet away from PC with no issues but now if I am more than 2 feet from dongle my PS4 controller looses its signal and when I'm within the 2 feet I still have high latency issues. Its not worth the price. Get something with better range and quality.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks like a dream

Pros: Very inexpensive,
Super easy Plug & Play
Good clean range
Did I mention inexpensive?
Sturdy design, feels solid
Good packaging, protective

Cons: None really. Very small, could be lost easily. Not really a con, though, just don't be daft. :)

Other Thoughts: This was perfect for me. Works great with my bluetooth devices, especially responsive for using my PS3 remote wirelessly. Hello FF7 and FF8 for the PC. :)

3 out of 5 eggsWorked great for a while

Pros: It was easy to set up, low profile and worked great. I had only one complaint with it, the short range, until after 6 months of using it.

Cons: It died after 7 months.

There is much room for improvement on the range from bluetooth receiver and the durability of it.

I was only able to get about +- 3.5' from the computer before it would start sending mixed signals from my keyboard, which, on my previous receiver could easily get 5-6' of range from the same usb port

After about 5 or 6 months it started giving random problems with loss of signal. finally another month down the road it stopped working.

I tried to reset the keyboard and re establish a connection as well as a re installation of the drivers and see if that would solve the problem.

I was not able to locate my iPhone on bluetooth from the receiver yet I could see my keyboard from my iPhone.

I did, however, use the bluetooth receiver on a daily basis so perhaps it was not durable enough for anything other than a laptop for short periods of time.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Does what I need it to do, which is connect my headset to my computer wirelessly and allow me to talk. It's also worth noting that I am using the Turtle Beach EarForce PX5 headset with this device.

Cons: For my usage? None. However, I noticed after getting like 15 feet away (walking to my kitchen) it can sometimes lose connection. As far as how well it carries my voice from that distance is unknown. Often times when I turn my headset on and I'm already in a game, I have to go to my bluetooth settings and manually disconnect and reconnect the device from there in order for it to allow me to talk and transmit my voice. This gets a bit old after a while. I've also noticed that when I use a software called XSplit, which is for live streaming, in conjunction with this and my headset disconnects or connects, it'll end my stream or somehow mess with XSplit. Not sure if this is XSplit's fault or the bluetooth software, but it was worth noting.

Other Thoughts: Do I regret buying it? No. Is it the best device out there? Maybe not. Does it do what I need it to do? Yes.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks well

Pros: Used this for a good while to sync my cell phone with Outlook. Worked great! Very small.

Cons: Poor range. If my phone was in my pocket it would loose it's connections frequently while setting at my desk (computer is on top of the desk). The little blue flashing light is a bit annoying when it is dark. It flashes like a little strobe light even while not in use.

Other Thoughts: Met my needs, plugged into back of computer and didn't take up much space. Looks like it would work well with a laptop.
