3 out of 5 eggsNice Bluetooth 3.0

Pros: Free shipping and a little discount, 3.0, like comon? Good deal, and its 3.0 its fast, in my opinon its fast small, and nice.

Cons: Now this is bluetooth, which means that it should be able to mult connect right? even in the manual and stuff it comes with says it can mutl connect, well it CANT, for atleast it cant mult connect to the same bluetooth, see i have a very nice PX5 and they have dual bluetooth allowing to connect to mult things. Well i need to connect my stereo and my mic onto my labtop, which is 2 settings, this bluetooth will only allow me to connect one, not both, which make it pointless for me to buy cause i have to have both....
O also its a little complex to install...

Other Thoughts: But then again its fast small and once u install it it works like a charm xD
If u need a bluetooth adapter for a bluetooth mouse or keyboard go for it!

1 out of 5 eggsBad idea

Pros: Nothing to write here since it doesn't appear to work

Cons: Too bad for Mac users and good luck trying to find the driver to make this work. It doesn't seem to exist. It be possible to actually use it but the company's web site doesn't list Apple anything for this device and they don't return emails.

1 out of 5 eggsDoes not work in Linux

Pros: Small size that fits notebooks without sticking out very far.

Cons: Tried many different distributions including Ubuntu and OpenSUSE which
support most hardware. This dongle won't find any discoverable devices
in Linux using the official Linux Bluez stack. Wasted money on this
dongle and only purchased it for Linux use and the description lies
in that Linux is supported.

Other Thoughts: Would have been useful if the product information was accurate.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes the trick

Pros: Plugged it into my Asus UL20FT that I recently bought here at Newegg and I had my BT mouse paired up and working less than a minute later. This is within Arch Linux (64 bit).

Price seems fair enough for an adapter conforming to the 3.0 spec.

Cons: The fit in the USB port is tight - real tight. You need to take care to be applying force pretty evenly in order to not damage your USB port. Also, pick your port carefully since you'll have a heck of a time removing it.

It sticks out a little bit more than I had anticipated. There is a rather bright and distracting blue LED that blinks along at a rate that corresponds with data transmission. I really wish I could disable that and it's just one reason I really with people would just include Bluetooth in their laptops by default.

Other Thoughts: I don't have any Bluetooth 3.0 accessories that I could test out with this adapter, but all of the 1.2, 2.0, and 2.1 devices I've paired up worked as expected.

5 out of 5 eggsIt works! Instantly!

Pros: This dongle installed instantly, and installing/pairing my entertainment keyboard and mouse took only a few seconds. The connection is stable, reliable, and survives shutdown and reboot (Windows 7)

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: A relief to find after fruitlessly trying to use the MS "transceiver" (dongle) which came in the box and which didn't work at all for me. It just self-installed and sat there in "devices and printers" where, after activation, still wouldn't find or pair up my devices.
