5 out of 5 eggsWORKS GREAT !

Pros: Easy setup, no ambiguity as most questionable settings have 2-4 word description, very easy interface and it helps by showing your current network. Coverage area is impressive. Downloadable Wi-Fi Analytics Tool shows signal strength on all routers in mbs. Mine showed 144mbs using Amped and 130mbs from router. (both broadcasting at same time)

Cons: Can't think of any.

Other Thoughts: Plan to use some of these to cover dead spots in park where I installed external wi-fi antenna and repeater. These were 6ft antennas with Bullet amp but still need help in dead spot.

5 out of 5 eggsManuel, #130=WONDERFUL

Pros: Mr. Manuel, #130 was the most patient, knowledgeable, and caring technician ever. We spoke for over an hour. He walked me through everything. I cannot speak highly enough regarding this man. I who can do arterial sticks, and intubation, knows nothing regarding this stuff. Bless Mr. Manuel.

Cons: There are no cons. Not with Manuel.

Other Thoughts: This man should be made CEO of the corporation. If every company I had to deal with on the phone had a Manuel, then it would be a treat, instead of hell talking with a tech.
He was great, as was the experience.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Product

Pros: super easy to configure, and it really extend your network, in fact more than I expected. I am talking about a distance of 4 rooms "full signal"; and the building walls are concrete and rebar 4 inches thick. Just 4 Easy steps "basic setup" and you're done in less than 5 minutes. I'm flabbergasted with the performance of this product " for it's size!!!
And have three more "routers/repeaters; and honestly all three are disconnected now and i have more coverage with this one than with the other 3 put together.

Cons: absolutely none.

Other Thoughts: Thinking on buying bigger antennas just to see how much extra juice i can get from it. In the meantime it just works wonders!!!

5 out of 5 eggsinsane!!

Pros: This extender is perfect. I set up two. One to extend the signal in my landlord's house and another with the SB1000 high power antenna in the the guest house 30 yards away!!

Cons: Setup takes awhile. But pretty easy as long as you disable your wireless card and use your LAN port.

Other Thoughts: The main thing to remember when setting it up is that it MUST be broadcast on the same channel as your router. If its not the same, there will be connection issues.

5 out of 5 eggsBest repeater I've ever used

Pros: I have never used a product that actually works as it's advertised and the SR10000 really does perform. Signal strength, and optional SMA connections allow for two antennas which is a plus.

Cons: The firmware that runs the SR10000 could be improved for better options. AMPED I know you read this and I do have suggestions if you want any?

Other Thoughts: This product is what I was looking for, I even bought a SB1000 to improve the performance and WOW! Just love the SR10000 and SB1000.

Manufacturer Response:

We are pleased to hear that you are happy with our products. Please send us an email to techsupport@ampedwireless.com for any suggestions for a furture update. We value all types of feedback from our customers.

3 out of 5 eggsHigh Output

Pros: This repeater has great range. The high gain antennae do a much better job than the internal ones in the other devices I have tried. The Higher power output makes it through the brick walls like no other. Got 70% signal from a router that my iphone could only intermittently see.

Cons: The firmware shipped with the unit was very buggy. kept locking up, had to hit the reset many times to get it to talk even on the LAN cable. Access denied web page from the router. Unable to connect up to firewall/wireless router.

Other Thoughts: Definitely download the latest firmware before you try connecting to anything, first thing out of the box. I docked 2 stars for the extra grief I had installing this and it not being able to connect up to the wireless router. I ended up connecting up to an access point that was hard wired to the router. The repeater now sits one foot away from the access point which broadcasts on a separate SSID. Luckily the signal strength blows the access point away. It is easily twice as far. I would have bought the Amped access point instead had I known the router would not assign the repeater an IP address. Tech support is only business hours which is useless to me.

Manufacturer Response:

We apologize for any inconvenience that you may have had with your repeater. We try very hard to make our setup process quick and easy. We are very sorry to hear that this was not the case for your setup. Please contact our free US based Elite Support at 888-573-8820 if you would like a more suitable product recommendation.

1 out of 5 eggsIf you have Comcast Xfinity, don't bother

Pros: Easy hook-up
Great signal strength

Cons: Comcast Xfinity D3GNV modem router BLOCKs internet from this repeater.

Other Thoughts: After spending a few hours trying to get this to work, I had an excellent signal where I wanted it, just could not connect to the internet, and trying everything i could do, looking for duplicate IP addresses, etc, I finally called AMPED to find out that their product does not work with Comcast Xfinity router/modem. That's excellent to hear after I bought it. Clearly, there's no mention of that in the video or anywhere else fpr Amped. Arguably the largest internet provider in the US, and their product doesn't work with it. I realize that Comcast is at fault in many regards for blocking their internet signal from being broadcast, but Amped knew about it and didn't disclose it. Now, newegg will take it back, after losing 30% of the money i spent on it, but I'm a bit upset about the lack of disclosure of Amped's product not working with a MAJOR internet provider.

Manufacturer Response:

The Comcast provided router modem/router combo you are using, the Xfinty, made by SMC (model D3GNV) is in compatible with our products. The modem portion of the modem/router will not forward network traffic originating from an extended network, such as the network our device creates. This issue has started with a mandatory firmware update through Comcast, in the middle of last year. Since this update the Xfinty has not communicated well with ALL BRANDS of repeaters/or router. If you would like to be able to extend the wireless network in your home office, I recommend that you contact Comcast and request an alternative to the Xfinity (SMC D3GNV). We are sorry for any inconvenience that this has caused you.

4 out of 5 eggsCool Product

Pros: I have never used a range extender before. I must say i am very impressed with the range and its performance for gaming.

Cons: The network was often dropped at first and i did not know what to do so i had to call customer support.

Other Thoughts: i was told that in order to have it not constantly drop a connection you have to set a static id which the customer support people helped me with.

5 out of 5 eggsWOAH!!!

Pros: all i can say is WOAH!!!!

this Repeater not only gave my 4700 SQ Foot House a 4/5 Win7 Reception Bar signal EVERY inch of the house. my entire 1.23 Acre YARD has at least 2/5 bars anywhere in the yard!!!

Cons: manual says does not work with firefox for setup but i beg to differ. i used IE9 FF, and Chrome to test the flexibility of the setup page for the repeater, all three work fine.

Other Thoughts: Eggcellent Product!!
