5 out of 5 eggsExtended coverage, fast and easy

Pros: I had poor coverage with a competitive router. The AC1900 solved the range problem. Setup was easy. Customer service answers immediately if you need help. Really was plug and play.

Cons: Cost is toward the high end but worth it.

Other Thoughts: I am also using Amped Wireless APs and they are good too.
Had to call to learn how to change channel selection from "auto" to a specific channel. Amped Wireless has a free software program (off the web) Wi-Fi Analytics Tool that shows received signal strength of all available networks and channels used. Very helpful.

5 out of 5 eggsA Great Highpowered Router

Pros: I needed to replace a router that simply was not getting the job down when it came to wireless strength. I am glad I choose this product we went from using a low end router which gave about 2-3 bars upstairs and outside to full strength coverage. I work in an area where these homes are literally hundreds of years old (1700s/1800s) and this router can cover the home (or place of business in my case)

Cons: The user interface is "special" meaning the company decided to re-invent the wheel instead of making it spin faster. It took me about 20 minutes just to find how to reserve DHCP addresses. I would recommend bracing yourself when configuring the router.

Other Thoughts: I wish I knew about the power of this product, its range is so powerful I can reduce/eliminate the need for powerline networking devices (they work but I'd prefer using this beast) when it comes to accessing the internet.

5 out of 5 eggsA Great Piece of Hardware Again!

Pros: Great Range. User interface suitable for the newbie and expert alike. – This is my third Amped Wireless device. I bought this higher powered one to replace my three-year old Amped wireless units. The older ones were passed on to friends who needed better WiFi in their homes.

Cons: Haven't found any.

Other Thoughts: It's a shame, but in our neighborhood, we needed a more powerful signal to overcome the overlapping signals from our neighbors networks.
