1 out of 5 eggsbad product, real bad support

Pros: none, compared to other competing products

Cons: bad design, poor performance, bugs, bad support and service.

Other Thoughts: This AP was introduced by Motorola a few years ago. We bought about 100 units believing in Motorola brand name. That was a big mistake. All units came with buggy software that barely worked and crashed several times a day. Then almost all of installed outside units leaked water, due to a bad case design, and burnt. It cost us thousands of dollars. Motorola did replace all water damaged units, but did little to compensate us for troubles. They later changed the case design of this AP. The software became a little better and more stable in the last few years, but still has a lot of issues. Motorola support is probably the worst among all OEM we deal with. Whoever answers the phones, seem clueless about the product and unable to offer any help.
Many times provided information was false. I thought that once Zebra took over, support issues would improve. Wrong again. We sent them (ZEBRA) one AP that stopped responding during a routine firmware update back in September this year. In early October we agreed to pay for it to be fixed and provided CC payment. The promised turnaround time was 10 days. Here we are now, two months later, and we don't have our unit back. We keep calling now Zebra every day, but get empty promises to send us the repaired unit or a replacement unit with no actual results. They probably lost it. It appears that whole division is a total mess.
We are now considering what action to take next.

Bottom line is- I would stay away from these products and MOTOROLA/ZEBRA. There are other products on the market that work much better and are backed up by a decent support. For example, CISCO APs work real well.
