Lifetime warranty? Not true!
- Pros: No heat, no sound! (no lights as well)
- Cons: Their lifetime warranty is not true.
Once the product discontinued, the 'Lifetime Warranty' expires as well.
- Other Thoughts: I have not used the product for a couple of years unpacked, because they said it was lifetime warrantied.
Last week I was trying to install it, but no light at all.
Service rep said the warranty expired because the product discontinued!

The firmware 5.02.08 seems to solve the disconnecting problem!
- Cons: The 2nd level support had to step in to help because the 1st level can not issue an RMA, although previous level one staff promised to ship an replacement if level one support can not fix the problem---my goddaughter who is non-technical almost gave up!
- Other Thoughts: It only has been 5-6 hours without disconnecting, so I will give another review in a week of non-stop usage; meaning, leave the router on continuously!
If Belkin cares for its name and products, get these routers back from the retailers and upgrade the firmware; then again, they may have to sell them as refurbished at a deep discount!
It is cheap for a reason

Signal seems strong!
- Cons: Disconnecting every 20-30 minutes
- Other Thoughts: I was going to buy the lower model. Unfortunately the day I went to the store to buy it this one is $10.00 cheaper than the lower model one---oh, what a fatal decision!
I had installed a Belkin wireless router 3 years ago at my brother-in-law's house; it worked wonderfully! That is how it sucks me into this one in additional to the price break---what a disaster!
I checked the Net and found out that my disconnecting issue is not unique; some have success in fixing the problem by updating the firmware to 5.02.08. My goddaughter is doing it tonight and I am crossing my fingers.
I will give another review as to whether the latest firmware saves the day or not.
Never have I given such a poor review in any computer product I purchased!
