2 out of 5 eggsWorked Great for the first week!

Pros: It was cheap, I bought on sale for only $11 and I got what I payed for.

Cons: It worked for the first week and then just stopped working, I switched it to a new usb port and it worked for a little while and then stopped again. I tried reinstalling the drivers and it still didnt work.

Other Thoughts: It worked well when it worked.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat - works with Ubuntu 9.10

Pros: This is a great multipath wireless G adapter. It works with ubuntu right out of the box too - just plug it in and it shows up in Network Manager. Price is great too.

Cons: Big, but it has to be to support multipath antennas.

Other Thoughts: I can plug this adapter into my laptop usb in the basement and get 100% signal. The router is a belkin mimo pre-N, and it's two floors up and pretty far away.

The laptop has a built in wifi, so I can attach each wifi adapter to a different access point and use ifenslave in ubuntu to bond them together for 54Mbps x 2 channels acting as on. I believe Windows can also bond multiple adapters auto-magically.

What more can your ask for. Mimo multipath works great. I sure the signals are mostly reflected paths, because there is rock and earth between the line of sight diagonal from my basement location to the router location upstairs.

Cons: Not the size I was expecting...its huge compared to other similar adapters (good for the price though...and not much of a negative)

3 out of 5 eggsMediocre Belkin strikes again!

Pros: Works adequately under 32 bit XP and works very well under Linux (Ubuntu 9.04, 9.10 and Debian 5/Lenny). Ralink chipset.

Cons: The bundled Windows software is terrible. Totally unusable.
There are no drivers for 64 bit Windows on Belkin's site, and there are no Win 7 drivers on Belkin's site.

Other Thoughts: Apparently some people report that the Windows Update Center is able to find a driver... that helps a lot when you don't have a connection because your wireless card needs drivers.

5 out of 5 eggsMy MIMO

Pros: Works great. I am < 10 feet from my router and it rocks. No problem doing Window updates. Surfs the net fast w/o any problems thus far.

Cons: None at this time

Other Thoughts: Have not tested from further distance. Just needed another connection for a third PC that is too far to be wired.

4 out of 5 eggsvery fast

Pros: G plus mimo has a excellent range. I am operating down 2 floor and across the house at full speed. once the driver situation is resolved it works flawlessly.

Cons: The only problem I had was it doesn't have a windows 7 driver or functional Vista driver on the disc or on the website. Strangly enough Microsoft does have a driver for it through their update service, but you have to get online 1st to be able to download the driver through windows update service.
