5 out of 5 eggsWorks for Windows 10, and Works Well

Pros: You got what you paid for: a simple, cheap wireless adapter. It's nothing to write home about, it's as budget as it gets, but it certainly gets the job done. To top it all off, it works for Windows 10. If you're looking for a budget wireless solution, this is probably it.

Cons: It's not dongle-sized.

Other Thoughts: In regards to the rebate, it arrived roughly 2.5 months after purchase. It was a small rebate ($5), and it made the adapter free, so it's hard to complain.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's a WiFi Dongle!

Pros: Product is still functioning as it's supposed to. Install was flawless and everything works fine. Can't beat 5$!!!

Cons: I wish Windows 7 would install the driver automatically. (Not even a con really....)

Other Thoughts: I didn't actually need this device but I couldn't pass up the deal. Plugged it into my gaming machine as a secondary NIC, install was seamless, connected right away, haven't done any testing on it.

1 out of 5 eggsTOTAL JUNK, DO NOT BUY

Pros: None.

Cons: This thing is ancient trash. It is incompatible with macs, linux, and anything past windows 7. The software is garbage and doesn't install or run on newer platforms or operating systems. Even if it did, its only an N150 slow adapter so it theoretically wouldn't be fast at all. I might as well have lit my money on fire... PLUS I HAVE MAILED MY REBATE AND NEWEGG HAS NOT MADE ANY PROGRESS ON IT AFTER 3 WEEKS OF WAITING...

Other Thoughts: DON'T BUY THIS NO MATTER HOW CHEAP IT IS

1 out of 5 eggsBelkin N150 USB some type of way

Pros: It flashes green and the disc provided installs the driver properly.

Cons: It cannot discover any wireless networks within the radio frequency realm despite tedious troubleshooting. Was going to RMA but I would end up paying more even after a refund.

1 out of 5 eggsBELKIN F9L1001 N150 Wireless Adapter

Pros: price- easy hook up to windows 10 - works great 5 feet from my router - $5 after rebate I guess you get what you pay for

Cons: after 5 feet instant 50% drop in download speed - my laptop rates 65mbps and this Belkin gets around 20-28 mbps

Other Thoughts: rated at 150mbps not with my testing - it may work better with a Belkin router ( like the box says I did not use the cd it came with - windows 10 loaded up the drivers-

5 out of 5 eggsGreat speed and price

Pros: Inexpensive, true connection speeds of 150 Mbps, small, light weight drivers.

Cons: Windows 7 does not have default drivers for this adapter. Drivers from the CD or manufacturer's website are required.
it is twice the width of a regular USB device. I would recommend a USB stand out to make it fit next to other devices.
(Neither of these things are worth taking an egg off)

Other Thoughts: If you need a quick go-to adapter with decent speed, this is the adapter for you!

5 out of 5 eggsI love it

Pros: Paid $5. Worked out of the box. I never think about it---it's never given me any trouble. More than fast enough for browsing and file access. I just bought two identical machines and connected one to my router with wire and the other with this adapter. The wired machine is used as a desktop/server. I can't discern any difference in speed on the wired machine or on the wireless one, either in internet browsing or in accessing the files on the server.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I wish I'd bought more.

1 out of 5 eggsDrops my network like a hot potato

Pros: Small and cheap

Cons: Worked for one evening flawlessly, ever since constantly drops my network on a machine thats just 5 feet from my router. Drops occur every few minutes so mines headed to the garbage bin.

1 out of 5 eggsHasn't been a fun experience

Pros: I'm not really one to say that there aren't any pros so...it is in usb form.

Cons: I have had more problems with this than any other usb adapter I have used. Installed drivers and hooked up with NO problems. Five minutes later, connection dropped...this happened over and over until the wife router actually started dropping ALL devices. Never has this happened until I used this. This happened for 24 hours and then I unhooked the belkin adapter...everything went back to normal on the network for days; hooked it back up and BAM...network kept disconnecting all devices.

I switched to another usb wifi adapter and everything was fine. Switched back to the Belkin and it started all over again.

I checked my channels to see if they were conflicted with any others around me and they were good, uninstalled the box drivers and installed the latest (which were the same thing) and no help there. Even when it was connected it wouldn't go faster than 400kb/s...with the TP Link adapter it was going 3.4mb/s (megabytes...not bits).

Other Thoughts: Some people do good with this adapter, but no such luck for me :(
