1 out of 5 eggsTotal failure

Pros: None.

Cons: DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOUR NETWORK IS FROM 2005. Running 64 bit Windows 7. The thing flat-out REFUSES to see my WPA/WPA2 network. Worthless.

1 out of 5 eggs2/10 would not bang

Pros: -Small
-Quick to install

Cons: -Slow
-Download/upload speed was beyond terrible (lower than dial-up)
- Belkin Customer Service is the worst I've ever dealt with. Takes forever to get through to a person, and when you do, they can barely speak English. The phone agents have no knowledge of computers and if your issue is not on their sheet of known problems, they require you pay for an account for help. It was not worth paying $30 to fix a $30 adapter.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy anything from Belkin in my opinion. Newegg was great to work with though. I contacted them about the return and they laid out the whole process for me.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Mojojojo,

We would like to apologize for the experience that you have had. If there is anything we can do to make it a better experience for you please write us at customercare@belkin.com.

Best Regards,
Belkin Support

5 out of 5 eggsSo useful

Pros: It has a decent range. I've used the thing across a house and in a basement and I've always had amazing signal. I have a gaming computer with a lot of USB ports but that might be a con if you don't. Frankly, better than any wireless card I've ever had.

Cons: Occasionally I'll lose signal... but I'm not sure if that's the adapter or the modem cycling. Really easy to fix though; just unplug and replug. Give it a moment to boot up. When I say occasionally, maybe once or twice every few months - no big deal.

Other Thoughts: My husband was in the Army so I had to move a lot and never knew what the layout of housing was going to be so it was nice not having to lay ethernet everywhere. Ha ha, probably the most reliable thing I had in Army life.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for writing your review. We are happy to hear that your adapter is working so well for you. Please drop us a line at customercare@belkin.com if you ever have any questions or comments for us.

Best Regards,
Belkin Support
