1 out of 5 eggsterrible

Pros: Worked for 2 weeks

Cons: After 2 weeks it disconnects every 3 minutes then I
have to wait 5 mins this probaly happens about 4 times a day. If not it will work for an hour then disconnect completely for an hour. I had to write this review on my phone because of this.cardthis. i would reccomend this to no one.

1 out of 5 eggsTERRIBLE

Pros: Worked fine at first. Wasnt lightning fast but it got the job done.

Cons: I dont know where to start. first of all the thing is pretty big, covers the USB slot it uses and the one next to it, not that big of a deal if this thing would have worked (see below)
Second, i had this thing for about a month and everything seemed fine until one day out of nowhere i just started losing internet signal. I could have 20Mb download speed one second and then >1Mb less than 10 seconds later. the signal was choppy and i couldnt even load a youtube video without the resolution changing every 30 seconds because of the way the wi-fi was being received.
I wasnt able to play any multiplayer games on my PC because i would just lag out less than a minute into the match. webpages wouldnt even load without me having to unplug and plug it back in to reset the connection and then a few minutes later the same issue would come up. i have the latest drivers and my router is working fine with the restof my vast amount of electronics and this is the only thing im having cennectivity issue with

Other Thoughts: Save yourselves a hassle and DO NOT BUY. I hope belkin sees this review because i will never be buying from them again, way too much hassle

1 out of 5 eggsBad

Pros: None....

Cons: Way too slow for what you pay for... It's quite bulky as well and might cover usb slots in the back of your computer. It takes three hours to download something that takes 10 minutes to on the computer next to it. It might work for very basic usage however there are products that are half the price of this one and perform 10x better.

Other Thoughts: Got this at another store because I didn't want to wait for shipping.

1 out of 5 eggsTotal failure

Pros: None.

Cons: DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOUR NETWORK IS FROM 2005. Running 64 bit Windows 7. The thing flat-out REFUSES to see my WPA/WPA2 network. Worthless.

1 out of 5 eggs2/10 would not bang

Pros: -Small
-Quick to install

Cons: -Slow
-Download/upload speed was beyond terrible (lower than dial-up)
- Belkin Customer Service is the worst I've ever dealt with. Takes forever to get through to a person, and when you do, they can barely speak English. The phone agents have no knowledge of computers and if your issue is not on their sheet of known problems, they require you pay for an account for help. It was not worth paying $30 to fix a $30 adapter.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy anything from Belkin in my opinion. Newegg was great to work with though. I contacted them about the return and they laid out the whole process for me.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Mojojojo,

We would like to apologize for the experience that you have had. If there is anything we can do to make it a better experience for you please write us at customercare@belkin.com.

Best Regards,
Belkin Support

5 out of 5 eggsSo useful

Pros: It has a decent range. I've used the thing across a house and in a basement and I've always had amazing signal. I have a gaming computer with a lot of USB ports but that might be a con if you don't. Frankly, better than any wireless card I've ever had.

Cons: Occasionally I'll lose signal... but I'm not sure if that's the adapter or the modem cycling. Really easy to fix though; just unplug and replug. Give it a moment to boot up. When I say occasionally, maybe once or twice every few months - no big deal.

Other Thoughts: My husband was in the Army so I had to move a lot and never knew what the layout of housing was going to be so it was nice not having to lay ethernet everywhere. Ha ha, probably the most reliable thing I had in Army life.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for writing your review. We are happy to hear that your adapter is working so well for you. Please drop us a line at customercare@belkin.com if you ever have any questions or comments for us.

Best Regards,
Belkin Support
