4 out of 5 eggsBetter than expected

Pros: Unbelievably small; better speed than 802.11G; fantastic for the price

Cons: Not getting 150Mbps close to router

Other Thoughts: The small size is really convenient, but the lack of size for an antenna does inhibit the speed somewhat. Still, it's a great compromise for an old laptop.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great!

Pros: Its tiny, it works flawlessly, and the drivers from the CD didn't clutter my OS with unwanted software.

Cons: Its so small that it its hard to grasp and remove. If you're using this temporarily to download LAN drivers you might want to use a USB extension cable. Also it wasn't instantly recognized by Windows 7 SP1 64 bit, so you'll need to spend 2 minutes fiddling around installing drivers from the CD.

Other Thoughts: I didn't test the wireless N speeds, and my apartment is so small that I really can't speak to its range.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Laptop Upgrade

Pros: No driver installation required with Win 8.1
Big improvement over my laptop's internal wireless adapter
Small enough to just leave plugged-in

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Received the Belkin N150 Micro Wireless Adapter yesterday and I just opened the package and plugged it into my BF cheap HP laptop running Win 8.1. The Microsoft & Realtek drivers were automatically loaded and the adapter appeared in Device Manager under Network Adapters as "Surf Wireless Micro USB Adapter". I went into Win 8.1 network connection settings and turned the old internal adapter (named "Wi-Fi") off and turned the new USB adapter (named "Wi-Fi 2") on. I connected to my local network and ran some speed tests. My ping times went down and my download and upload speeds improved by at least 25%. My network connection has been stable without any dropouts or delays. I suspect that my laptop's internal adapter was beginning to fail so YMMV.
