Pros: Non with card by itself; but some after getting the drivers to work proper with Vista. Good signal after installing the rosewell triple extreme n antenna set!
Cons: There is no need to waste your time with the driver utility disk that comes with this card; if you are doing a windows vista 64 install! Useless!!! Need to download the drivers from the edimax site and install them from there! Also without the use of the Rosewell extreme triple attenna set; this card would not rank as high in my book! three eggs may be too many for the price considering that it should not have needed the antenna set for a good signal!
Other Thoughts: Overall i'm happy with my 4 bar signal after paying the high price for the card and then also paying the high price for the Rosewell triple antenna set! I would buy them again; but i still do not like the price to get the wireless n set up properly! It seems that the card alone would be sufficient enough but for some reason wireless n seems to be a little more fussy to set up compared to wireless g!!! I would reccomend it; but only with the additional triple antenna set! And i have yet to see a wireless n card; cheap or expensive get the signals that they make you believe you will get! With the antennas; i'm happy and like it better than wireless g; but expect to pay more for what you get!

Works w/Windows 7, Range Could Be Better
Reviewed By: on 11/8/2009
Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: 1 month to 1 year
Pros: Have had this card about six months now. Caught it on sale for $20 with free shipping, so it was a steal for a Draft-N card. Since then, I have upgraded to Windows 7 x64 Ultimate, and this card works flawlessly under Windows 7. It installed a driver for it, and we were off and running. Really it could not have been easier.
Cons: Although these issues are not enough for me to really complain, they do count enough to dock an egg from the rating:
1. The range could be better. Even with three antennas, I am seeing lower connection strength than with my previous Arlink 101 b/g card. 2. Do *not* install the drivers from the CD, or from the website. Allow Windows 7 to install the drivers, and it does a great job. 3. I also dual boot with Ubuntu 64Bit, and under Ubuntu, I have had strange authentication issues with WPA2 with it not wanting to authenticate with the same router it functions fine with under Windows 7.
Other Thoughts: Even with the range issues, if you can catch this card on sale, it's well worth the money. If full price, you may wish to look at other cards.

Misleading Specs.

Pros: Its a great card if your running Vista 32-bit or Windows XP.
Cons: Its misleading in the Specs. Only Version 2.0 is Vista 64 compatable. Not Version 1.0 . Newegg is selling Version 1.0 and will not work with Vista 64. I have a dual boot system and when I'm in Windoes XP, it workes, but when I boot to Vista Home Premium 64, it can't find the adapter.
Other Thoughts: Wish Newegg would sell the 2.0 Version. I'm, using ENCORE Adapter at the present and its working in both operating systems.
