1 out of 5 eggsNOT HIGH GAIN !!

Pros: Install on Win 7 was pretty simple

Cons: When installed on the rear of the computer was only getting B to low G speeds (13-33Mbps) installed it in the front port and achieved G speeds (53Mbps), but no higher, and network is set to N only? my PCIE card by contrast gets full N speeds 130Mbps. It is a pain having this giant antenna stick out of the front of my computer to get it to even work halfway decent. you;d think for a so-called "high-gain" antenna it would work from the back of the computer where it can be "hidden"

Other Thoughts: very disappointed in this product as it is not even as strong as the G USB adapter it replaced. (Rosewill) may end up sending it back and get a PCIE card instead

4 out of 5 eggsIt works!

Pros: So far, so good. It replaces a house brand broadcom card in a client's computer. Working well on a different floor and through a few walls.

Cons: It installed Google Chrome without permission. No checkbox, no notification, just installation of Chrome. Regardless of the opinion of the browser, that's low.

5 out of 5 eggsNo hassles

Pros: Plugged it into my Win7 64bit and it automatically installed itself and started working. I did have my computer hardwired with a network cable at the time so I'm not sure if I would've had the same success without having it already plugged into the internet. Also has a good signal range.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsEdimax EW-7711USN Network Adaptor

Pros: Works well, excellent signal strength compared to it Best part was the Edimax support.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Had trouble installing at first, contacted Edimax support via email. In two email exchanges they correctly identified my problem as ZoneAlarm. With Zonealarm uninstalled, the Edimax adaptor installed flawlessly. Now, with ZoneAlarm re-installed everything is working great.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent

Pros: plug in, install drive and it works
pretty fast

Cons: not the strongest signal if its just sitting on the computer on top of my desk
USB extension cable is a little short but I can find my own later. if i get a longer cable then i can wire it to my bookshelf for better signal

abysmally ugly and ruins my color scheme of my set up completely. wish it was black.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: I do not like to install the 3rd party software. So I plugged it in and was able to load the driver from the disk on a xp machine with any 3rd party wireless manager. The shell shocker deal was to good to pass up.

Cons: None Really

Other Thoughts: Wait for the shell Shocker. It is a steal.
