Pros: - works plug and play on osmc

Cons: - limited 5ghz channels under Windows (under 48)
- no support in linux

Other Thoughts: If you need a low cost wifi adapter for osmc, this is good.

If you are trying to get this to work under Windows, change your access point to a low channel (under 48). Horrible work around, limits you to access points you have control over. Not usable outside your own home.

If you are trying to get this to work under linux, you can find source to build a driver, but you'll end up building for each new kernel.

Pros: easy to set up, good performance

Pros: This was a great buy for me! It works as fast as my Ethernet for my apple 801.11ac wifi!

Cons: Non but will keep updated in case something happens

Pros: Gets the same throughput as my hard wired computer - even when placed at the opposite end of the house. Dual band running at 2.4 Ghz.

I've admittedly got a slow internet connection that doesn't push this adapter very hard though.

Cons: The protective cap should be somehow integrated into the body - as it's going to get lost eventually.

Other Thoughts: Bought this to take advantage of my new AC 5Ghz wifi modem/router. I get full signal and full speed (router is in next room over, through one wall and about 25 feet away).

I plugged it into the computer and Windows 10 had it working in seconds.

I love that it's small and can just stay out of the way on the back of the PC. My previous unit, a Rosewill RNX-N250UBE had dual antennas - and was so long and heavy that it would sag and routinely get knocked loose back there. Not gonna miss that for a second.

Also, this new unit connects properly each time I boot the computer (the Rosewill model required "troubleshooting" the connection to reconnect each time I rebooted).
