5 out of 5 eggsAwesome adapter

Pros: Great adapter with a nice mbps rate. Small but has great signal pickup strength. Saves internal room within the desktop I am using this one. Installed software very easy to use.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggssurprisingly good

Pros: Great adapter, fast and reliable.
The antenna helps, without it I would have lost a USB port.

I originally bought this as a temporary replacement due to switching rooms and not having a long enough wire for a direct connection to my DSL router - It's been a month now and there have been 0 drops + I get solid dl/up when streaming movies and pings great while playing online games. Permanent solution.

Cons: No complaints.

Other Thoughts: I've read other users complaining about the signal dropping, you might have gotten a faulty stick or installed the wrong driver.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent Adapter

Pros: Good reception in the basement; one floor below and a room away from the router.

Good speed: Downloaded an 8GB+ game hitting speeds of 2MB/S.

I have streamed several ~45 minute shows on Hulu in high quality. They were mostly very smooth; one had tolerable lag spikes. I made an important streamed online meeting without incident.

The included bendy adaptor is very useful.

Cons: Setup without a CD-ROM drive or existing Internet connection is impossible. I had the correct driver and utilities on a USB drive, and it would not take, no matter what I tried. I had to drag the desktop and monitor upstairs near the router. With the wired Internet connection, setup was very easy. The inconvenience was worth docking an egg, though.

Other Thoughts: I am very happy with this adapter. I like ASUS more and more.

5 out of 5 eggsQuick, Easy & Simple

Pros: Great reception from the ASUS RT-N56U to this USB NIC. Quick and simple setup. Really like the USB flexible extension that came with the unit. Also works well with an older DLink Wireless-N unit I had to put back into service while the ASUS RT-N56U is being RMA-replaced.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I could see this unit being used nicely for laptops or desktops. It can also be used quite effectively for IT troubleshooting (USB connect and test the connection).

4 out of 5 eggsPlug and Play

Pros: Plugged into a Windows 7 64bit system connected using Ethernet, Windows looked up the drivers and installed automatically.

Works great for browsing the web.

For this customer the CD and software was not needed.

Cons: Windows 7 said it was connected at 81Mbps while the router said it was connected at 240Mbps. Either way this shouldn't be a problem for what it's used for.

Other Thoughts: It has a lot of bells and whistles for the price. Will have to order more.

5 out of 5 eggsASUS USB-N13 for Linux

Pros: The only reason I got this wireless adapter is bc of the Linux support. I didn't want to use NDISwarpper for another adapter. This was something that natively worked without any other software involved.

Cons: Really no cons for what the product is besides maybe a higher speed adapter in the future at not such a high cost, but you get what you pay for.
