As the world smallest wireless USB adapter, the ASUS USB-N10 provides superior wireless performance with best-in-class MIFA antenna and wireless 802.11n support. PSP XLink Kai support enables you to play games over the internet on the go rather than just over your LAN. Compatible with common operating systems, the ASUS USB-N10 allows you to plug in almost any USB enabled computer and enjoy the fantastic tangle-free wireless environment.

  • newegg Extremely Compact and Powerful USB-N10 is the smallest wireless USB adapter in the world. Boasting a 3 cm body length, it is easy to carry and takes up little space when attached to a notebook. Compared to most USB Wi-Fi adapters, it is extremely compact and sturdy with its pocket-sized format and strong plug-in design. This small size and strengthened one-piece shape allows a host notebook to be connected to the USB-N10 even when it is placed in a slim carrying case or bag. Thus you can enjoy constant connectivity with the ASUS USB-N10!
  • newegg EZ N First-class Performance The ASUS USB-N10 provides superior wireless performance for your PC compared to legacy wireless 802.11g technology. It uses a best-in-class MIFA antenna to deliver consistent HD quality data streaming and a much wider wireless operating range. In addition to providing better bandwidth and coverage, the 802.11n standard is also backward compatible with 11g and 11b networks, ensuring existing networking hardware can be fully utilized.
  • newegg PSP XLink Kai Support Similar to the USB-N13, the USB-N10 delivers PSP XLink connection support. You can play system-link games over the Internet rather than just over your LAN while on-the-move. (Visit teamxlink.co.uk to learn more and to join the XLink community.)
  • newegg Breakthrough Antenna Design The wireless USB adapter incorporates an impressive MIFA antenna which is better than PCB and Chip antennas widely used in generic adapters. This integrated antenna and connector design provides a compact form factor that is much smaller than conventional adapters and greatly expands the transmission range.
  • newegg Multiple OS Support - Windows, Mac and Linux USB-N10 allows you to easily enjoy wireless networking over various platforms. It is compatible with common operating systems such as Windows, Linux, Mac, and even the Windows 7 OS.

5 out of 5 eggsSold it within a day

Pros: Increased Down speeds
Small

Cons: While I had it I couldn't find anything wrong with it

Other Thoughts: I got the adapter, used it for a day, then sold it to a friend who is now very pleased with it.

1 out of 5 eggsSTAY AWAY

Pros: Well it works when I first plugged it in

Cons: Has not wanted to work reliably for the past 3 weeks. I have tried everything I can with this and do not know what else to say, it just DOES NOT WORK.

Personally I would not recommend this to anyone.

Other Thoughts: This reasoning is quite possibly why it is on sale right now. If I would have known of this issue prior to purchase I would not have bought.

Sorry Asus, thought your products were good.

STAY AWAY is all I can say.

3 out of 5 eggsBe careful

Pros: Great speeds, decent range, small

Cons: Running Win 8 and paired it with an Asus n56u with latest firmware. After a month wifi signal kept dropping every ten minutes. Narrowed it down to the adapter. Ever since removing it all of my devices run smooth. Must just be a faulty device. So be careful. This thing is cheap, you get what you pay for.

1 out of 5 eggsWhen plugged in, it crashes my router.

Pros: Small size. Potentially works with windows 8.

Cons: I plugged this into my windows 8 PC and my router immediately started loosing connectivity repeatedly. Both wireless and wired connectivity was lost while this wifi adapter was trying to connect to it.

Other Thoughts: I'm an IT Professional, and I've seen things like this before. The problem definitely is with this unit, because as soon as it's unplugged, the issues go away and the rest of my wifi devices work as they should.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks out of the box on several linux distros

Pros: One of the very very few adapters that work out of the box with 5 different Ubuntu flavors. No issues whatsoever. Tried several other Newegg Micro adapters that DO NOT WORK out of the box, this is the one to get for current releases, small too, not micro but still small. Also plug and play on Windows 8.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works great. Used out of the box with with several Linux distros including BT5, and Raspberry Pi.

Cons: Gets very hot, have not run into problems with connection.

1 out of 5 eggsDoes not work very long

Pros: Small

Cons: It runs hot, then stalls out. After cooling down it will work again, but for very minimal time. Asus has offered a RMA, but it's my understanding that this is very common with this adapter.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks perfect for raspberry pi!

Pros: Super fast, PnP compatible with Rasberry Pi (B) - Wheezy, minimal power use, and super compact size.

Cons: Runs a little warmer than some other USB WAPs, but not hot.

Other Thoughts: This is THE adapter to buy if you're running Wheezy or Arch on you RasPi: It's plug and play on any image after July 30th. Also works perfect on any other computer I've tried, windows or linux.

3 out of 5 eggshot hot hot

Pros: tiny, works with Ubuntu 10.04, and apparently Raspberry Pi

Cons: This device gets extremely hot even when the computer is off.
Also, (I believe it is overheating?) it will after a while stop working properly and even cause me to reboot my wireless router in order to recover.

Other Thoughts: I really wanted to love this device for its small size, broad compatability and ease of use. However, I wish I understood why it gets so darn hot.

4 out of 5 eggsStill working

Pros: Working 3 months later. Last wireless adapter I had burned up in 1 month (different brand).

Cons: Does get hot to touch. Drops connection every now and then... Not enough to return/stop using, just 1 egg deduction.
