5 out of 5 eggsGreat WIreless-N Adapter!

Pros: I plugged it into my Win7 64-bit computer and the drivers were auto-installed w/ no work on my end. Tweaked my router settings and had this adapter running at 150mb/s in a matter of minutes. No connection drops or lag issues of any kind.

Cons: None at this time.

Other Thoughts: After using the device for the last few months, this is a big upgrade from my old PCI Wireless-G card. My wireless G card would drop connections every once and awhile and cause terrible lag in online games. With this new Asus adapter, I have a steady connection with no drops/latency issues in online games. I highly recommend giving this adapter a try.

1 out of 5 eggsBe ware Windows 7 users

Pros: Cheap; seems to be well built.

Cons: Didn't work in Windows 7 (x86);
Terribly lack of information in ASUS website

Other Thoughts: Just bought this adapter and wasted a few hours trying to figure out why it wouldn't work in Windows 7. After a successful installation of the Windows 7 drivers, I couldn't find the utility that is supposed part of the installation. The only thing I found was the uninstall application. I then installed the drivers and utility in Windows XP and it worked perfectly.
I downloaded the drivers from ASUS and an utility from Realtek (chipset vendor). None seemed to work.
Windows 7 users be aware!!!

1 out of 5 eggssucks after a while

Pros: good for temporary web browsing.

Cons: this is giving me problems. it had full speed, but it lags during games, and it's been disconnecting from my network.
no other computers does this for me, only this adapter is giving me problems.
it's now completely broken and the max download speed is supposed to be 25 mbps, but it's showing 0.70 mbps, and it has failed.
do not buy.

Other Thoughts: i recommend getting a PCI wireless adapter if you own a desktop computer.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent!!!

Pros: Easy to set up, Low low price!!! I got it for 2.99 after rebate, there is no way you can get anything for this price in 802.11n

Cons: None that I can think of.

Other Thoughts: it works!

2 out of 5 eggsbad egg

Pros: it comes with a stiff flexible cable, and i can browse the web.

Cons: Asus drivers suck 24mbs connection full signal and my dl speed was 10-24kbs. Downloaded the latest drivers from realtek helped my dl speed and was able to get 54mbs connection but i still have issue. Signal sucks if anythings blocking it, Door closed.

Other Thoughts: maybe i got a bad one.. i play league of legends and bf2 this usb dongle suffers from high latency spikes and ultimately leads to me lagging out of games. i will freeze for 30 seconds, and sometimes i get corrupted downloads.
buyer beware go with a more main stream chipset.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent NIC

Pros: Plug and play in Linux (opensuse) and Windows 7. Realtek drivers for this nic were recently released.
I really like the stiff usb extension cable that allows it to flex, but also to stay in place at a certain angle. Great idea.
Strong signal, solid.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: USB ID:
0b05:1791 ASUSTek Computer, Inc.

1 out of 5 eggsIf you run Linux, don't bother

Pros: Cheap.

Cons: Unlike the old model (v2) the chipset included with this model no longer works out-of-the-box on Linux. The old chipset (Ralink RT73) has drivers that ship with most stock kernels (and the source is included, so if you compile your own kernels, that works too). The new chipset, however (Realtek RTL8192SU) does not have built-in support. It does come with binary-only drivers. Which you would think is better than nothing. Unfortunately, this isn't true. The instructions (readme.txt) are mostly useless, and installing the driver promptly caused my computer to freeze. I shutdown and restarted in a shell and removed the everything. I then learned that the non-free repositories include these drivers. I thought, "why not? easier to back out a .deb". Which fortunately was true because this also caused my computer to crash.

Other Thoughts: Find the old model of this if you can. I have an ASUS WL-167G v2 (the old model) (0x0b05:0x1723) and a Linksys WUSB54G v4 (0x13b1:0x000d) and they work great.
