1 out of 5 eggsDoesn't work with Win 7

Pros: None so far

Cons: Tried every possible solution I could think of, downloaded latest drivers, etc. Win 7 sees the device but will not use it for a network connection. ASUS support for this device is virtually non-existent.
I will try this on an older XP PC and if it fails to work there, I'll be contacting NewEgg for an RMA.

Other Thoughts: Wish I had picked a different adapter

1 out of 5 eggsSTAY AWAY!

Pros: Stay away! when other reviews gave high rating...I took the BAIT!
When package arrived, I carefully noted everything in package be fore doing anything.Everything seemed OK, so I inserted CD
and clicked on "install"...it rejected/failed/whatever and i then clicked on "website" which proved a disaster! could not even
CONTACT ASUS...no matter how hard I tried...after 1-2 hours
the website accepted my input...which was only to get HELP!!
if you want to spend your time trying to contact ASUS then be my guest? ASUS used to be a respected name in my memory?
but now they have descended to BOTTOM of tech support, etc? I am truly sorry that they are no help, but that is true!

Cons: when looking for submit, I found my comments had been in"PRO"
box and not in CONs box..so this will lead to CONFUSION?

4 out of 5 eggsH/W ver B1

Pros: Seems okay once you figure it out

Cons: As another reviewer said, it's version B1. I could not get the drivers to load with Win7 Home 64 bit, until I downloaded B1 from their site and Burnt a disc. Then it was no problem.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks pretty well for stick.

Pros: Works well - nice upload/download speeds. Can in fact do 300Mbps when close enough and AP is set to 40MHz width.
Thoughtful inclusion of USB extension dongle for those hard-to-reach spaces.
Nicely styled.

Cons: This is the USB-N13 B1. The drivers for the earlier revision will NOT work. Newegg should have pointed this out and saved me a few BSODs.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far, very pleased with the difference

Pros: I have several PC's in my house and all are Networked wireless that are in various bedrooms. I have always used the Netgear WNA3100 adapter and Netgear routers. This has done a satisfactory job for me. House is an older wood structure two story. With the Netgear adapters, the PC's upstairs typically connected to the router at worst ~81kpbs, but generally around ~120kpbs. To my surprise, this Asus N13 connects at ~150-180kpbs, and my file transfers confirms this little bit of speed increase.

I'm using this in the Netgear cradle, see cons.

Cons: The cradle extension is really short, it's about long enough to reach from a PC sitting on the floor, to your desktop, and then it doesn't give you much room to relocating. For this reason, I'm still using Netgear's cradle.

The light is SUPER bright in comparison to the WNA3100 indicator light. In a dark room, when it's flashing, you can easily see across the room, gonna have to blacken that out a bit.

Other Thoughts: Over all very please with this adapter. Setup was super easy. Ran the utility/driver CD that came with it and during setup you have the option to use the ASUS utility or the windows wireless utility. This made me happy. I don't like a lot of bloatware so selecting the windows wireless utility, it installs only the drivers. Very nice!

Bought these on sale, it's what made me try them, got two, wish I had bought more.

Gonna have to seriously look in the a new Asus AC router and see if combining bands will improve speed for me more.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Small. Solid construction. Push button WPS. Great value

Cons: Connection LED is rather bright, I would suggest putting this at the rear of your case so you dont have to see it

2 out of 5 eggsAnother BAD Experience with Asus

Pros: The Cradle is Included

Cons: Asus Support

I contacted Asus support asking about Windows 8.1 drivers for this model. They took 5 days to respond to my email only to tell me that there are NO 8.1 drivers but there will be in the future.
"REALLY ASUS? Windows 8.1 has been out for 6 months.

Other Thoughts: Asus use to have the best support back in the 90's and 2000's but the support over the last 5+ years has gone away. The only thing Asus is any good at is making motherboards. All of their accessories have little to no support and they are terrible at getting drivers and firmware out to the consumer in a timely manner.
