Pros: The RF part seemed to work fine.

Cons: OK the device worked fine but the first time I grabbed the plastic case to pull it out of the USB port the cover fell apart. I had
to go and buy model glue to put the 2 halves back together. There seemed to be nothing much holding them together so
any squeezing to grab the "handle" to pull it out just separated the 2 black plastic cover / handle pieces . I figured the $2.69
to buy the glue was easier than to send it back................

Pros: Slim/small
Good range
Functioned properly on first attempts to connect my various Bluetooth gadgets w my pc
Works with Windows 8.1

Cons: No cons.

Other Thoughts: Comes with an install disc that I used first - I didn't try to see if it was "plug and play" or if appropriate drivers would be automatically downloaded and installed. I went straight for the install disc & auto ran the install wizard.

Pros: cheap

Cons: I kept using Windows 7 long after 8 release because anything that connects to this will crash and give a "kernel boost auto acquisition raised irql" error message forcing a restart where I have seen it loop on crashes unless you remove the device in settings then try again and you might have to restart the service to get it to finally work. I bought another one and it does the same thing on Windows 10. So, everytime your battery is low on one device you have to save and close everything for the imminent crash when you try connecting another device.

Other Thoughts: I was going to buy an ASUS motherboard, but not after dealing with this product. I have tried everything to make it work correctly: different ports reinstall the software with/without compatability mode. It's all hit or miss on this thoroughly documented problem. It is surprising to me that this is the "best rated" on newegg so this is my public service announcement: AVOID THIS ADAPTER IF YOU HAVE WINDOWS 8/10

Other Thoughts: I ordered this item for my gaming rig. Mainly so I can sync a ps4 controller up to play my games, an it works great!!

Pros: It's bluetooth

Cons: Apparently when the stats say that you can get 30 feet of signal when unobstructed, that means that you also shouldn't put this on the back of your computer. I get a grand total of 3 feet if it is on the back...so now I have to see it on the front of my tower, taking up one of my front USB slots...but I may just be picky.

When you say 30 feet of signal when unobstructed it means that you need to check for any interfering devices i.e. Cordless Phone / Microwave Oven / Bluetooth Devices this is to prevent the wireless adapter from having an intemittent connection so as long as there no device mentioned above you can still plug in the wireless adapter at the back of your computer.

Cons: Windows 7 did not automatically detect the device making it non-plug and play.

Other Thoughts: Using it with an amazing pair of:
"Plantronics Backbeat Pro Wireless Active Noise Cancelling Headphones with Mic" that can be purchased here on NewEgg if one was to search what's between the quotes.

Pros: Easy setup/installation with the CD it came with. No issues syncing up to my mouse and no lag on performance.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: This is a Class 2 device, so the range is not very far. Hoping Asus Makes a Class 1 Device soon for Bluetooth 4.0/4.1

Pros: Works as advertised. Comes with software and installation was a cinch. I am a strong supporter of many things ASUS. Also many things newegg!

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I already had a fitbit dongle, and was concerned that it and this one would somehow conflict. I installed the ASUS software and adapter per the instructions, without removing the fitbit software, and everything works as it should.

Pros: Works really well.
Drivers easy to install.
Configure once and forget.

Cons: Not really a con of the product, but of the bluetooth technology:
Wish we could have a higher transfer speed that would allow for better audio quality.
