Great Router - Turn off XP Firewall
- Pros: This router surpassed my expectations for this price level.
Everything works fantastic. It has most of the features you could want (just have to look closely)
- Cons: Documentation is on the poor side
Had also noticed it would drop a connection every 10 minutes or so...Problem went away after I disabled the XP Firewall for the wireless Local Area Connection...
- Other Thoughts: Would buy again - Great price, Wireless & 4 Lan!
Nothing but a bad experience
- Pros: No real Pros. It's your average wireless router.
- Cons: resets every 10 - 20 minutes and kicks me off of AOL and AIM. Incredibly annoying as I use these programs quite often and I don't realize that it's kicked me off until AIM signs me back on. I end up having to send half of my messages twice.
- Other Thoughts: Kind of slow, but you get what you pay for. Other than the AIM problem and speed, I haven't run into any problems.
Simple, inexpensive
- Pros: I hooked up the cables, plugged it in, screwed it to the wall, and now I have 4 PC's online.
- Cons: none
- Other Thoughts: It's purple and ugly, I keep mine in the closet.
