1 out of 5 eggsNot PoE 802.3af Compliant

Pros: Works with old Cisco equipment, but not new. Not standard PoE 802.3af compliant so it doesn't work with the Cisco WAP121 I bought it for.

Cons: I contacted Cisco when it didn't work with my WAP121 and this is what I got as a response:
"It is my understanding the AIR-PWRINJ3 is not 802.3af compatible, but rather compatible with the Cisco pre-standard PoE. This is why it works with the phones and other Cisco APs which support that version of POE, but not the WAP121 which is only 802.3af POE capable only"

Other Thoughts: Also note that this does not come with the 48V power supply that is needed for it to work (luckily I had a spare). Suggest you look for a more integrated solution from another brand unless you are using this with Aeronet APs or Cisco Phones.

Hope NewEgg starts carying the SB-PWR-INJ1-xx that is compatible with the WAP121 and is 802.3af compliant.

3 out of 5 eggsNeeds AC Adapter

Pros: Great PoE, easy to setup and install.

Cons: Doesn't come with AC adapter.
Needs Cisco AIR-PWR1400=, which is very hard to get a hold of.

Other Thoughts: May want to try universal power adapter, it'd be faster than drop shipping it from Cisco.
