2 out of 5 eggsNot what I expected from such massive adapter.

Pros: When the adapter decides to actually hold the max link speed from the router downstairs, the gameplay is actually Ok (Black Ops 2) no lags or sudden increases in latency to host of the game.
Lots of Range, Over 15 wifi connections with 2/3 being all 5 bars, well what else can be expected from 15 inch(approx) antennas.

Cons: Link Speed drops down to a minimum of 1Mbps every now and then, making browsing, gaming almost impossible.
Unstable speed, meaning it's peak performance is more or less time limited, and once the max speed time passes, you're back down to minimum link speed.

Other Thoughts: I bought this adapter only because the other one I had did not maintain a playable connection, constantly leaving me frustrated between lags in games, and extensive loading in youtube videos.
This adapter is a lot bigger and should signify improvement at first sight, unfortunately I was mistaken by it's promising looks and performance. Of course, maybe everyone else who bought this device has no issues and it's just me with all the defects.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks well

Pros: Basically plug and play.
Setup and running in 5 minutes.
Breathing new life into my XP desktop.
Now saving $40 a month connecting to cafe next door.
Love it...

Cons: Included driver was 3 years old and frequently disconnects. Premiertek points to Mediatek for the latest drivers and it hasn't disconnected yet.

Other Thoughts: Extreme range is probably line-of-site.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product

Pros: This has the best signal strength/range of any wireless device I've ever seen. I've had no issues with network detection/dropped packets yet. (over a year) The price is on
par with many of the cheap wireless PCI cards/usb cards I've
had in the past.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: It's stood the time trial.
I'll probably order another one of these in the future.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product

Pros: My wireless router is about 30 feet away from me through a couple walls and I get 5/5 perfect connection all the time it never goes down.

Cons: The thing is pretty big so it takes up some space and the light stays on it even when the computer is off but that's not a big deal.

Other Thoughts: Great price for perfect connection would recommend this to anyone.

2 out of 5 eggsOK while it lasted

Pros: Fast connection, and long range, when it's working. It looks pretty cool.

Cons: Similar to other negative reviews. The manufacturing was faulty(one of the antenna didn't connect properly). The connection is sketchy(fluctuates between 20 Mbps and completely losing connection). Finally, its unreliable(after 8 months, the thing has almost completely died. The speed never breaks 5 Mbps now, and it fluctuates extremely often.

Other Thoughts: Perhaps I could have just gotten a dud. If I had a chance to try another one, I might change my mind. However, I don't think it's worth the risk to spend my money on another.

1 out of 5 eggsNot a good purchase

Pros: Worked great for approximately 3 months. Revealed several neighborhood WAP that I had never seen before. Signal strong enough that I could access and use a free WAP.

Cons: Now it only start occasionally and never sees any WAP. My old adapter at least sees my next door neighbor’s WAP.

Other Thoughts: Do not purchase.

4 out of 5 eggsVery good

Pros: -Range
-Good speed for wireless.
-easy to set up
-looks pretty cool

Cons: -Annoying blinky flashy blue light that is hard to sleep in the same room with (sort of a con)
-Takes a couple seconds to 'boot up' when downloading; e.g
download will start at around 200KB/s, but after a couple seconds it will 'boot up' to FAR more desirable speeds depending on your wifi.

1 out of 5 eggsUnreliable

Pros: It has amazing range pretty much double my range. Work well for surfing the web but doesn't work for gaming.

Cons: Like I said its has amazing range, I went from 0-1 bars on my laptop to 3-4 bars with this. Despite the great connection I have I cant seem to get a stable internet connection. I sometimes can get 10-15mbps and other 1-5mbps. I also get terrible packet loss and jitter. Its just completely unreliable.

Other Thoughts: Despite the mixed reviews I decided to risk it and give it a try. So if you are thinking the same thing I was right now just do yourself the favor and find something else.

1 out of 5 eggsDisappointing

Pros: looks impressive, cable distance is useful

Cons: I had issues with the drivers from day one, after a few days of fiddling I got the device working. The connection was spotty constantly and the connection was dropping. This happened to neither of the other two wireless connected computers nor any of the mobile devices in the house. After just over a month my internet connection was dropped entirely. The device is still recognized and stated as "working properly" but no networks can be detected. I did a fresh install of the drivers and still nothing. I plugged in my old dinky wireless adapter and it picked up three bars immediately, so the issue is indeed with the device. This has caused great trouble with doing college homework online as well as playing recreational games. Perhaps I got the faulty one of the batch, but I was hoping for more when I spent my $40.

Other Thoughts: This product seemed like a great deal, but it left me very sad that I ever considered it.

4 out of 5 eggsWorth every penny!

Pros: Does what it says by boosting signal strength, and the range is enormous! Went from a poor signal of 1/5 to a excellent 5/5 signal strength while discovering many more WiFi signals that I didn't know existed around me!
I also went from paying $70/moth for internet to a one time payment of under $35!
This item is great for social media such as Facebook, Twitter, ect.. And works great with file transfers (downloading). I don't think I've ever lost any packets downloading anything with it.

Cons: The only con would be that the ping fluctuates a lot, and sometimes drops even with it saying I have excellent signal. It is not for online gaming! I tried to play online shooter games, but my ping rate would jump all over the place no matter which server I chose to play on. I have ran many speed tests with it ranging from 7-9mbps. Which is not bad, and I'm not going to complain cause I'm not paying $70/month for the internet anymore!
I gave it a 4/5 stars cause it does drop the signal/ping once in a while.

Other Thoughts: Got permission from my neighbor to use their internet cause I lost my job and no longer could I afford $70/month for my internet, and it's important to have the internet to find a new job. Anyways, I had trouble connecting to their internet cause my signal strength was only 1 out of 5 bars while using a Netgear WNDA3100. I did some research online and found this little Item for under $35, so I gave it a shot from reading other reviews!
My signal strength went from 1/5 to 5/5 excellent signal strength, and also showed me about five or six more wireless connections that I never even knew existed around my little town!
This Antenna is worth every penny for under $35 when you pay over twice that a month just for internet alone! Some people pay three times that! I have decided I am no longer going to pay for the internet, even after I get a new job.. Why pay around a thousand dollars a year for the internet when you can buy this for under $35.00!
