5 out of 5 eggsworks great

This review is from: NETIS WF2113 300Mbps Wireless N PCI-E Adapter with 5 dBi High Gain Antennas and Low Profile Bracket Compatible with Windows MAC Linux OS

Pros: good connectivity, no issues so far.

Cons: ordered 2, one had unstable connection and had to send back for replacement.

Other Thoughts: Although i had to have one replaced, the replacement worked flawless just as first. Driver from Netis website (original driver -no revisions) works perfect.

1 out of 5 eggsWorked well at first, died few months later...

This review is from: NETIS WF2113 300Mbps Wireless N PCI-E Adapter with 5 dBi High Gain Antennas and Low Profile Bracket Compatible with Windows MAC Linux OS

Pros: Easy install, cheap, worked well until it died.

2 out of 5 eggsEasy Install, but died after 2 months...

This review is from: NETIS WF2113 300Mbps Wireless N PCI-E Adapter with 5 dBi High Gain Antennas and Low Profile Bracket Compatible with Windows MAC Linux OS

Pros: Easy to install, drivers easily found, fit perfectly in pci slot. Small, good signal at first.

Cons: After a few months of use, got interruptions getting a stable connection. Constantly needed to reboot my pc to get it to work again. The connection only got worse, tried restarting my router still the problem persisted. My other devices received excellent connection but the card had trouble keeping the connection. Get what you pay for I guess.

1 out of 5 eggsDoes not work on g networks

This review is from: NETIS WF2113 300Mbps Wireless N PCI-E Adapter with 5 dBi High Gain Antennas and Low Profile Bracket Compatible with Windows MAC Linux OS

Pros: Wouldn't know; can't get it to work.

Cons: Tried on Linux Mint 17. Will recognize and connect to a wireless g network, but will not transfer data. It seems this card insists on connecting to wireless n networks. Googling shows this is a common problem, it seems most people just give up and buy a wireless n router. Drivers on the CD and online won't install, error comes up saying "model WF2113 not known".

Other Thoughts: NOT linux-ready. not by a long shot.

5 out of 5 eggsReliable

This review is from: NETIS WF2113 300Mbps Wireless N PCI-E Adapter with 5 dBi High Gain Antennas and Low Profile Bracket Compatible with Windows MAC Linux OS

Pros: Doesn't disconnect all the time like others, not too expensive, and goes on sale every once in awhile.

Cons: Not an ac which really isnt a con.

Other Thoughts: I have used this in two builds now and in each build it has worked great and have had no complaints about it. Will continue to purchase for future builds.

4 out of 5 eggsNetis Wireless Adapter Windows 8.1

This review is from: NETIS WF2113 300Mbps Wireless N PCI-E Adapter with 5 dBi High Gain Antennas and Low Profile Bracket Compatible with Windows MAC Linux OS

Pros: -Inexpensive
-Pretty good signal reception
-Very stable and fast

Cons: -No Windows 8.1 driver support.
-Did not access the internet with the standard wireless mode IEEE 802.11b/g/n

Other Thoughts: 4 eggs because it wouldn't access the internet with the drivers installed. I had to tweak the wireless mode of both the adapter and my router to get it to work. Other than that it's been stable.

4 out of 5 eggsGood range

This review is from: NETIS WF2113 300Mbps Wireless N PCI-E Adapter with 5 dBi High Gain Antennas and Low Profile Bracket Compatible with Windows MAC Linux OS

Pros: Good range with the antennae attached.

Cons: Antennae are big and awkward. Does not support 5ghz.

Other Thoughts: I got this as an add-in with a motherboard; I would not have bought it otherwise. Still, I'm pleased with it.
