Pros: Works very well with good connection.

Cons: When plugged in on the back of my computer, there was a lot of interference and static. I plugged it in the front and this went away. Died after 3 months.

Other Thoughts: I have this on a tower on my desk which is to my left about 3ft away. Device plugged into front face of tower. Using BT head phones, pandora (any audio actually) is very choppy. Had to place the device using a usb extender cord to be about 2 feet away. The built in dell bluetooth with my headset had a range of over 20ft.

Pros: Good range, easy to install, easy to use, does what it says, and is affordable

Cons: Software isn't unlocked and/or doesn't support some wireless controller set ups like the ps3 controller. It's 2014, that should be a standard for high quality bluetooth dongles.

Cons: . . . Once you get it setup. I had some minor issues with setup on a Windows 8 (x86) machine, though no issues with Windows 7 (x64) or Windows 8 (x64).

Other Thoughts: I've been using this to create a test a Bluetooth link (simulating a custom hardware device) to a Nexus 7 (2013) for software development and testing, and it has been working very well in that capacity.

Pros: Connected quick and no lag. I haven't tested the max range on this but i'm about 20ft from the other bluetooth device and there is no lag or choppy behavior from losing connection. I bought this to watch movies and so far I'm satisfied.

Other Thoughts: I bought the IOGEAR bluetooth 4.0 first and it kept lagging like crazy on audio and when watching movies. I bought the smk bluetooth 4.0 le+edr and it worked right out of the box.

Pros: Well, it works. Has all the BT 4.0 feats. Thats about it. Research before you buy.

Cons: Range is less than ½ of my original 2.1+EDR adapter. I'm talkin much less than 30'. If I had to 'guesstimate', I would say I get about 10' away from the adapter and then it loses connection. Also more expensive than better performing adapters.

Other Thoughts: I'll keep it only because I have a Raspberry Pi I need an adapter for and of which I don't need much range away from it for its use. Other than that, I would not recommend this adapter to those who need range more than 10 feet.

Cons: I have an SMK-LINK dongle and an SMK-LINK Mouse and they will not communicate with each other. I asked SMK-LINK for help via their Support site a week ago but no reply. Avaid SMK-LINK products.

Pros: This thing works well with my Windows 7 and is going great. Looks to be more reliable and has a decent range though not as far as I expected. This might have to do with it being under a very thick wooden desk though.

Cons: Range as mentioned above, though could be due to thick wood and metal on back of CPU case

Other Thoughts: Pretty cool if you have wireless headphones.

Pros: Small, easy to install

Cons: Nothing spectacular.....says up to 80 feet.....I have a $10.00 one that gets the same distance......30 feet which is great....but I expected MORE

Other Thoughts: the device works good but don't see all of that more....

Pros: Works well with Bluetooth headphones and file transfers from three Android devices. No complaints regarding the functionality of the device.

Cons: The led on the device is way to bright. Lights up the whole room in the dark. Very distracting. Does there even need to be a light showing the status?
