5 out of 5 eggsSolid

Pros: No real issues. Cheap ($10 after MIR). It's worked great for a few LAN parties.

Cons: Not heavy (plastic enclosure).

1 out of 5 eggsNot working after three months

Pros: Easy to set up. Plug and play.

Cons: Dead after 3 months. Now powers on but no network connection.
Terrible customer service. Was told no inventory left so cannot replace.

Other Thoughts: Will not buy their product again. Well, fortunately they don't make many.

1 out of 5 eggsBad product, and nonexisting customer service

Pros: easy to hook up.

Cons: Bought the device in March 2014. After working for about 3 months, devices connected to the switch couldn't detect the network anymore.

Other Thoughts: About a month ago, I submitted a online ticket for a replacement; I also emailed the customer service. Haven't heard anything back from the manufacturer. Not sure if they are broke or just don't have customer service. The worst experience I ever had with a product I bought from newegg, and I've been a customer with newegg for more than 7 years.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA again

Pros: cheap

Cons: first unit failed in 1 week. On Networks hassled me over an RMA but NewEgg replaced it. Replacement unit failed in less than 2 months.

Other Thoughts: May make good paperweights

1 out of 5 eggsbad product

Pros: Don't need manual to install

Cons: Only last three months.
Service is bad. I called the service representative. Was told there is no spare unit in the inventory. I asked for a similar one with 5 ports (my is a 8 ports network switch) and was told none either. I was promised to get call back even as I suggested to send me email update. No call and no email since then. Completely in the dark. No case established. Wasted my time.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks for my purpose

Pros: I used this for my home theater setup. Rather than use the wireless features, I used a powerline adapter with this switch so I could have a more reliable connection for streaming videos or music on my blu ray or AVR. Also wanted to free some "air space". And this worked exactly as I'd hoped. Never had an issue with it for that use. So for me, it gets 5 stars.

Cons: None so far

1 out of 5 eggsDied after a few months

Pros: It's a simple 8 port switch that worked well when new

Cons: This died after several months of use. I submitted a ticket to On Networks but never received a response.

Other Thoughts: I purchased a more expensive and hopefully higher quality switch from a more known company to replace this paperweight.

1 out of 5 eggsItem Damage in 45 Days

Pros: Great Expectations if your read the features

Cons: Support is there but, help knowledge very poor.
damage in 45 days

Tech support on phone response: told me the solution is: returned where you buy it. even i told them only 30 days is valid from the day of purchase, They are not receiving return......well after 3 hrs of waiting my time

I WILL NEVER BUY THIS- On Network Again

Other Thoughts: This kind of Items that seems to be too good PLEASE

5 out of 5 eggsSimple, small, fanless unmanaged gigabit switch.

Pros: I got this switch for $15.99 a few months back to use in my home as my central distribution switch. It is small, about the size of a medium length paperback book (or three stacked 7" phablets). It is fanless and has no hot spots anywhere on its case. It has eight gigabit auto-sensing ports. I get decent transfer rates, and can share network resources (HD video, files, Netflix) among my home devices with no lag.

Cons: None by my experience.
