5 out of 5 eggsIf you rate this less than 5 eggs, you're doing it wrong.

Pros: When you need a security appliance that can handle over 200MB of throughput over the WAN interface and 100MB of IPSEC traffic, you're up in the range of these products and this one is awesome.

Cons: Coming from a Cisco background, I still wore the label off the question mark key on my keyboard. Not IOS so everything works a little different. Also took me the better part of a day to figure out that this thing was screwing with my SIP traffic coming out of my Asterisk system. Fixed that with 'no inspect sip'

Pros: If you have A Cisco background, you would know that upgrading the encryption on a K8 version is done free of charge on Cisco's site

Pros: Export version not encryption

Cons: I thought I was getting asa5512x-k9 not this one which is the asa5512x-k8 which has no encryption, only DES.
