2 out of 5 eggsNot dependable

Pros: Easy setup. Original bought it to extend my wireless connections. I also like the gigabyte LAN ports.

Cons: I tried to use it to replace the Linksys wireless router connected to my broadband modem to take advantage of the gigabyte LAN ports. However, it drops the wan connection off and on. I Replaced the router with my Linksys wireless router and WAN drops wet away.
I didn't see a DHCP client list.

Other Thoughts: I think I'll just stick with Linksys. I have a Linksys with Tomato installed. Works great.

5 out of 5 eggsFlexible Router

Pros: Great price for a capable router. Small size, large antennae, supports a large number of wireless router configurations and capabilities. It is located in a rarely used vacation home where the temperature can drop to the low 40's in the winter. Has been working flawlessly so far.

Cons: The CD disk is not a walk through installation wizard it only points you to the routers internet URL that gets you into the internal configuration screens. You need to be familiar with the wireless settings and their labels in order to be able to complete all the configurations.

Other Thoughts: None

4 out of 5 eggsWorks for me...

Pros: Supports WDS so you can maintain a single WAN when multiple WAN routers/access points are used (assuming they all support WDS).

good/wide wireless coverage.

Low price (I purchased this unit when it was on a shell shocker sale).

Cons: It feels like a cheap build with poor documentation.

LAN connectors sometimes get stuck in the jacks and you have to use 2 hands to disconnect them.

I’m no expert at configuring network devices…I made more than a few errors while setting this up and at least twice I had to power the unit off before the reset (to factory defaults) button would work. I don't think that's normal.

Other Thoughts: I set this up mainly to improve wireless coverage in my house. I have it connected to a gateway via power jack adapters. It has been set up for over a couple weeks and no resets have been needed yet. Considering the low price and perceived build quality I don’t have high hopes for longevity and reliability but it is performing great so far and hopefully proves my assumptions wrong over the long term.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: Well it does what it says. The low price had me thinking about quality but it works great. The range is great can pick it up 5 houses down street. That is way I replaced my old one, diff brand, to many dead spots. This one does everything, attic, basement, garage and down the street. Family and kids come over, they get wireless free without having to use my personal computer. All the gadgets connect with ease. the "N" speed seems to work fast on cable modem. really no complaints despite reservations on price.

Cons: Reservation about quality despite price, but so far good service........:)

Other Thoughts: Hey for under $25 what more can you ask, does what it says.
