1 out of 5 eggsLasted less than 2 weeks

Pros: Worked great for a week

Cons: Fell apart within a few days

Other Thoughts: Bought this for my father's computer and when he went to plug it into a different USB port, the metal shroud of the USB connector came apart and got stuck in the port. I have never seen anything like this happen before. I pulled the shroud out and tried to put it back together and I could not get it to work again. Tested that same USB port with several different devices and had no issues. Just seemed like a cheep connector. I would certainly not recommend this to anyone. In the end I tossed it in the trash...

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for your money

Pros: Had to get someway to get internet since my graphics card blocked the only other pci slot on my motherboard. This was a great choice. Ive had it for about a year now and I still love it

Cons: None as of about a year

Other Thoughts: They could make it built a little better because it feels pretty flimsy

3 out of 5 eggsGets The Job Done

Pros: -Easy to Install (its USB after all...)
-Driver CD provided, but not latest driver version. You can get the latest drivers from their website.
-Antenna has a good range of movement.
-Gets the job done.
-Cheap price

Cons: -Latest drivers not on the CD provided.
-Antenna while having good movement, the knuckle allow for the movement is sloppy and will likely not stand the test of time.
-Mediocre signal quality. All other devices in the same room (tablet, phone & laptop) all have 4-5 bars, however this adapter fluctuates between 2-3 bars of signal quality.
-Due to the mediocre signal quality the throughput hovers around 10-20Mbit which likely won't be enough to for a media center pc or a pc you do a lot of downloads on.
-In hind sight I should have paid a bit more and got a better quality adapter. It's not bad enough that I want to deal with a return etc, but I won't be buying it again for the other machines I am building for my mining cluster.
-Cheaply made, the knuckle which supports the antenna will likely break in the future. The knuckle is also very sloppy, it doesn't hold the position you set the antenna to very well.

Other Thoughts: If you are on a tight budget it will get the job done, but unless you are sitting next to your router/access point forget the idea of getting anywhere near the 150Mbit/s for which wireless N is rated.

This is a 2.4Ghz wireless N adapter, not 5Ghz, keep that in mind as you choose the right one for you.

5 out of 5 eggsI love it!

Pros: Easy to install
Works great

Cons: It's white. (big deal <-sarcastic voice)

Other Thoughts: So the chipset that runs the wireless on my laptop was dying. 1Mps download speeds and sometimes not that. I bought this unit based on the reviews I saw.
Put the CD in read the manual, installed the software and went to 15Mps right now.
I even went to the Tenda website and found my has the latest driver. I didn't even have to update that.
Well worth the $ spent.

5 out of 5 eggspretty good for the price

Pros: only about 11 dollars shipped, you get a nice compact wireless n usb adapter with good speeds and latency, i have it hooked up to my computer that is about 35-37 feet or so away from the router with like 2 walls in the way, and i get the advertised speeds of my isp and good latencies of usually around 10ms. no lag when playing online games.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: no reason to go with a more expensive wireless n adapter unless your location from the router is very far with a lot of walls and such. i bought one of the rosewill ones for like 27 dollars with 3 antennas and the quality is about the same as this 11 dollar usb wireless n adapter.

5 out of 5 eggsConnects me to the internet

Pros: Easy set up on Windows 7. Connects at wired speed to the router upstairs. Cheapest adapter I could find and is just as good as the $40 Netgear adapter which just crapped out on me. Great deal if it works for at least a year.

Cons: There appears to be an updated driver on Tenda's web site where I'm getting 56k modem speed on the download.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Wireless Adapter for the money

Pros: Easy to install on older desktop running Windows XP. Installed 5 over the past month and all worked on first boot-up. Tight USB connection. Fast and steady 72 mbps connection to my Netgear Router.

Cons: A little fragile but good construction.

4 out of 5 eggsNice!

Pros: Works perfectly.
Great for a desktop that isn't near a hard line RJ-45. I assume would be good for older laptops lacking wifi too.

Cons: 0

3 out of 5 eggscheaply made but works fine

Pros: Easy to install, do it manually with the CD for XP Pro

Cons: be careful rotating the antenna as it splits the case, had to glue the case back together to keep the antenna from flopping down.
The unit is fragile.
